So freeview is going to do something similar to what mytv is doing and this time for over 80 channels,I hope there channels are really better than mytv...but selling their decoders for just one month and then encrypting I think is way to soon, not enough time to roll out their boxes.

Wahala for mytv is freeview has better channels .

AliExpress price slash is still on, it started 9am today and should last 24hrs or so. Go search and get h265/multistream decoders at very cheap price, remember to compare the prices among different stores and ones with lowest shipping cost or free shipping, to help you get the best deals. Good luck, guys.
Re: Free To Air Satellite Tv General Thread by Satdexter: 9:19pm On Nov 11, 2020
Popular ones there are many models of gtmedia decoders
Vmade or V5 decoders
Hellobox decoders, including hellobox smart 2.
Re: Free To Air Satellite Tv General Thread by Satdexter: 9:23pm On Nov 11, 2020
Now, my question is:
Do these decoders mentioned above have any website for us to download upgrade software?

I was too distracted to notice this. Please where on earth did you gather this definition from or are you making a statement of what Ourtv people told you?

Well make I take am say you are only pointing out what you think Ourtv people are trying to say.

But that's totally wrong to categorized a decoder as one that multistream, simple because it has a feature for diseqc 1.0

You don't need a multiple dish installation to even receive channels transmitting under the multistream platform. So using that analogy of diseqc 1.0 to define multistream is totally misleading.

I strongly believe I have done justice to the true definition of multistream, some pages back

Please Digitman, what page exactly?

Sorry for the late reply, I was tied up with work. In the attached image you will see their official frequency.

If that did not work, then do a blind scan. However if all the option listed did not bring out a signal then adjust your dish to boost the signal in that frequency.

As I write, the frequency is still firing and channels very much active.
Their official frequency didn't work. I tried this 12734 (H) 9160 and got about 10 channels. However, there is no audio. The images are displaying clearly but no audio is coming out. Is there anything i can do?

I experienced this or rather the same instability but this is as a result of the frequency used. Change the frequency and it would stop. I believe this has to do with our location or sort of. Funny thing is, I initially thought it was my LNB and hence I tweak, tweak, and twist it, removed and dismantled everything and all over again, but it persists then I thought I should change the frequency which I did, and then... It stopped, and become stable.

Still trying to wrap my head on why you're experiencing that. Because the audio is very much clear on three brands of decoder I tried it on.

I can give you a page number but it's far better I give you something with more volume. Where you get to gather all the information you need about it. From various school of thought in this forum.

So simple go to the search bar and type the word multistream. Like 8 pages talks about it , the channels as well as the decoders doing such things.

Happy reading

Oh thanks Digitman...I have read your explanation on multistream yesterday in response to the Ourtv issue. Thanks for making it plain. You are the best!

If your symbol rate is, say, /30000 make use of every option (on the draw down)that has such but if all this fail then the problem is certainly coming from either your lnb or your dish has shifted, or the mouth that goes into your lnb.

Contact Abowun on this forum. He's very reliable.

I am here to testify about seller ' Abowun.

Well, having checked and checked various online stores for the latest ( strong decoder) h265, S2× multi-stream compliant, and found the price way too high or rather, overpriced. I felt I should announce my interest in that here which I did and was replied to by the said moniker above. So, I contacted Abowun but was shocked when he said he lives far in the north, I live in the western part. He requested I paid into his account before we/he can proceed with the business since he was already on his way to waybill one to Lagos but I was a bit skeptical and doubtful but I felt I should risk it after all the recommendation about him and all that.

I proceeded and made the payment online(including the waybill charge), he asked me to wait that he will, along with mine waybill mine with the one he was to send down t Lagos - still I was holding on to faith.

Long story short, he later called me in the evening to inform me that he's decided to do the purchase for me in Lagos so as I save cost, time, and stress of way billing it from the north. Sent the number of the seller ( he calls him his friend), and to my utmost surprise I received not just the decoder, would you believe Abowun also requested my account number and within 2-3 minutes I got an alert of the extra charge( money for the waybill) back into my account.

This is a guy I did not know from anywhere nor have I ever had any business transaction with, ever! But he went all through all that to make such sacrifice, refund my waybill money, and all of these without asking for any incentive not a charge for all the stress, time, and all just to get me that decoder.

I am penning this down this day because Abowunyour honesty and good work can speak for you on and offline, and whoever wants to do business with you now or in the future when making some research about you before going into the transaction will see and read about this.

Thanks so much! cool

Well if you have done all I listed and still did not get the signal. Then it's time to go to your dish and work on improving the signal. I guess your dish is a multi lnb setup?

Out of curiosity, what's the decoder you are using?

It's called being selfless than selfish. A good name is a million times more better than the quest for the riches that come back to bite you in the ass. When you've long gone forgotten about it.

To Abowun... Thanks for being that brother this fta family can be proud to call our own.
