Nchenches:What makes you think Nigeria has 3 regions instead of 2 or 6 zones? Is criminal to tag the whole north as a single zone/ region or whatever while south as two. The north has more tribes than the south, the north is more diverse than the south. Just because they adopted Hausa as their lingua franca that doesn't mean North is single tribe if that's the case then south that adopted Pigieon as their lingua franca should also be called one regardless of tribe. |

Misterdhee1:You don't get it. Igbos sticking with PDP in 2015 was a mass revolt against the fulani mafians that want to take back power through Buhari. A lot of Igbos were dissatisfied with Goodluck Jonathan government but the alternative was a no no for them. CPC as of then was made up of the most fanatical ethno religious northerners and their alliance with the AC in the west did nothing to water down our instinct about the impending doom. See, we have born the biggest brunt of this farcical nationhood so we can tell danger from 1000km off. We warned the nation to stay clear of the Kaduna mafians ably led by Buhari but we were mocked and ridiculed. Today Nigeria has turned into a massive grave yard. Goodluck might be clueless but he didn't turn all nooks and crannies of Nigeria into a vast killing field. Right to life supercede every other thing you can think of. That is the core believe of the Igbo man and it will continue to form the basis of our relationship with any group in this nation. NB : your last two lines were just mere emotional drivel. The fact that you are here discussing Igbo political matter makes nonsense of your claim. |

Eastlink:So you are saying Igbos should have left Obasanjo and Jonathan to vote for Buhari? Has the deeds of the Dillard not covumces you that Buhari is the worst thing to have happened to this nation? Has the decision of Igbos to snub the Dullard not been validated? You just wrote a long epistle with no point to pass. |

Eastlink:PDP or no PDP what we want is a better Nigeria for all. It doesn't matter whether the next president is from the west, north ,south or east what we want is good governance and equity. |

Nwadiuto247:U r still a political neophyte. All what u penned up there is nothing. Apc will never give igbo it's presidential ticket, who will they give? Umahi defecting is because he needs the ticket, orji Kalu is seated already canvassing for the same ticket, okorocha too is hustling for the same ticket. Meanwhile somewhere in ikoyi, a certain jagaban has worked hard for that ticket and he is waiting for the party to deliver it to him either thru the bullion van or one of his private jets. The voting pattern won't change and in fact it will be worse this time cos once the ticket is won and loss and it is the south east that lose it, the protest votes will be unprecedented. Pdp had the choice to chose a yoruba man for the VP to run with atiku but had to concede it to obi. Do u know if they had picked a Yoruba, the election would have been tougher... Bro go back and learn politics, u r still in the womb. |

Cjrane2:A very big error of assumption. APC will win 2023 elections without the southeast if it is necessary. At the same time, APC will rule the country successfully with or without southeast support. What is currently going on in Nigeria that you are gloating about (people of your extraction are usually happy when bad things are happening) is due to the political inexperience of Buhari and his morbid fear of military coup (having been removed from office once) that made him to appoint trusted persons who have parochial interest and therefore unsuitable for governance of a country as complex as Nigeria. The next APC government will rule successfully with or without Igbo support just like GEJ ruled without the support of the southwest in 2011 - 2015. Events of the last few weeks have indicated that PDP is ended. I need not say much on this for now. |

jamesversion:Apc is a conglomerate of different political structures. From cpc, acn, anpp, new pdp, and partly apga. Without this merger it wouldn't have been possible for opposition or single buhari to win gej. In 2011 buhari won the entire north east and Northwest states. 2023 I see no unifying personality in apc that will do the trick for them except the inec Man |

It's all about 2023 Igbo presidency. Gambling to go reap where the Igbos didn't show. And, they will wipe up so much sentiments if the ticket does not go to the SE. quote author=Nwadiuto247 post=95938123]PDP will lose a lot of vote in the southeast in 2023 election due to the following. The 2015 and 2019 voting pattern in the South East was a kind of protest vote against APC who they see as people who cheated Jonathan out of power. With Buhari out of the game in 2023 the voting pattern will change and PDP will lose a good number of it's voters in the South East to APC. 2. The rumour of killing of igbos in Oyigbo is another factor that has dampen the excitement the south east have about Wike and PDP. 3. The defection of Gov. Umahi to APC will lead to more defection before 2023 and this will affect PDP. Votes in the SE. The days of 5% APC and 95% PDP in the South East are over. APC has more visible projects in South East than the PDP but PDP gave South East more appointments than APC so each of the party has something to compaigñ with in the southeast. The Southeast is now a level playing ground for both parties.[/quote] |
