Chai. Being fat isn't funny. Easy to gain, hard to lose. You get fat, have to bear everyone laughing at you. I blew up once and only went back down by Gods grace. Its a nightmare to think of ever blowing up the way i did again. Very shocking to me as most of my life i was slim before that. I saw what fat people go through in terms of ridicule. Clothes i wore with ease didn't fit me anymore. Slim girls would come and collect my clothes. I was so glad when i finally lost that weight that i suddenly gained. Those that insulted me came back and complimented me. Hmm what i saw..... I'm still afraid of food and watching my weight now.....avoiding food these days. . If i eat late i scold myself, if i eat more i scold myself, i look at my stomach and arms every freaking day, worry about my weight occasionally, get myself to do things cuz sitting down is the easiest way that i can get fat. Eh! I don't want to go through that mockery i faced ever again. Everyone grinning and watching you or turning away as you waddle down the street. I didn't like it. 6 Likes |

Funny, i am not a coach but i know what top coaches do. The fact you address a fat person as a fat f**k says a lot about your perspective. You've conditioned your mind to so much hate. I can relate to your story a bit. A huge part of Nigeria is fatphobic. You shouldn't be afraid of food and check your weight because you want to stay healthy - not because of what others think. nwaezeemmanuel: No i just look for what i can eat that is healthy. If i can't have that then i watch the quantity of what i eat. If i get the smallest portion of food in the house, ah, no problem. Or eat breakfast and dinner only and drink water in between. If i don't have the means to eat fancy food I'm only grateful....its a merciful delivery from fat..... All these fitness coaches just pry on fat fcks and since they get paid as long as the fat fcks remains fat fcks, then it serves their interests to keep the fat fcks as fat as fcks can be towards bleeding the fat fcks their money. It is an arrangement suited to appease the fat fcks towards milking them dry. If I had my way all so-called fitness coaches will be rounded up and shot for encouraging this fat fckery sh!t. |

Obesity is not healthy at all, we should endeavor to shed excess weight, being overweight or obese predisposes one to high blood pressure, diabetes and over working your heart. These diseases are usually termed lifestyle diseases, you are encouraged to watch your BMI carefully, it's measured by your age, weight and height. Preventive medicine encourages a healthy lifestyle, eating right, exercising and staying away from alcohol but that doesn't you cannot indulge in sweets and alcohol once in a while but in moderation. A lot of people on high blood pressure or diabetic medications stopped all medications after adopting a healthy lifestyle. Obesity should not be acceptable |

Alright, this is safe. The thing with a lot of Nigerian diets is that they have too many calories and don't fill up in small portions. Right now, i am also reducing my intake but trying to look for low calorie alternatives that fill the stomach up fast. Hope you stay as lean as you can, and stay happy as well. purples25: |

So much negativity! I know a fitness coach that helps people lose weight steadily, once and for all. He's a world record holder in power lifting and a pro-bodybuilder. You're definitely not as fit or even as lean as he is, yet he is filled with a lot of motivation in his approach as well as truths. If you're so used to enslaved teaching, fine. This post is misleading. Fatness could lead to high blood pressure, heart failure and stroke especially at old age. It will do you a lot of good to eliminate the fat and not normalize it because by the time these diseases land, slim people will only tell you sorry. Trust me, hypertension and stroke are as worse as HIV. Although we have some problems that appear fat but are not. Some people are big, they have large bones. 1 Like |

i sense 2 errors from ur script & i want to correct some 1.) someone is fed up & can no longer cope with strains & workout rules 2) someone is trying to justify that adding weight is normal,i tell u that ur lazy mind is suggesting that rubbish,may be u dont understand what HF (heart failure) means,those fat in ur blood vessels & atteries gotten from the junks u eat daily is risky,they narrow blood vessels & reduces blood flow,when this happens the heart pays 4 the damage,it can cause death either by stroke,HBP or HF.it a silent killer. WHAT YOU MUST DO 1.) when you plan to begin the workout lifestyle please dont start from a gym immediately,those instructors will stress the hell out of your life & make it appear difficult,infact you may decide 2 give up as this op.the first key is short distance jugging direct from ur house which u must maintain until u attain great adrenalin level & stamina endurance,by then ur mental mind is ready for new skills,it gradually turn fun then u can now visit the gym 1 Like 1 Share |

If you wan see obese people, try visit America and you will see the kind of fat that is really termed as obese & disgusting. Most fat women I see around are chubby and round in the right places and not necessarily obese.Not everyone can be lepa ..I was once lepa around 8-10 and I didn't not look good at all.I lost my hips and I became straight .so I had to eat up to become a 12-14 and i like my weight like this .So I am maintaining my current weight like this .Ladies can be chubby and fit and not necessarily have to be lepa to be fit. Funny enough, a Chubby person can be fit by taking a walk everyone morining or engaging in one outdoor activities or the other, without thinking of how to break her back to be a lepa ..Thinness does not necessarily means you are fit and heathy . A chubby & fit person can climb up a 30 stair case without catching her breath & a thin person might have to run out of breath by the 10th stair case climb. There is no need to body shame anyone . The most important thing is to maintain your body so that you don't become obese ..There is nothing wrong in being chubby. Mindlog: Ask anyone above 40. Lose weight, or lose quality of life. Lose weight, or lose your mobility. Lose weight, or get used to living in pain. Lose weight, or accept diabetes, heart disease, the prospect of a shortened lifespan. Thank God it doesn't have to be too difficult: change diet and you will rapidly see positive effects on your health. Go for fruits and vegetables. Garlic. Turmeric. Ginger. Lime. Black seed. Olive oil. Cucumber. Etc, instead of carbohydrates and fried foods, red meat etc. Then avoid alcohol. With the increased vitality, add exercise. I SPEAK FROM EXPERIENCE. |
