I have come to realized that children love their mum more than their dad due to women tend to pamper and spoil children. Dads are always strict.

Even if dad pays the school fees, mum would take the child to school to do the payments, the child starts seeing and thinking every responsibility is been done by mum thereby ascribing the glory to mum.

Fathers forget to connect and bond with their kids due to hustle. Day after day. But the woman is there nurturing, caring, cleaning shit, cleaning piss, staying awake at night... Spare yourself d silly mentality and bond more with ur kids. Take them out, rock them to sleep, bathe them, be a listening ear to them and when they grow older they won't forsake you and most importantly treat their mom right.

stupid fathers are easily forgotten, same thing applies to stupid mothers. Your care and actions is what determines the closeness of the children to any of the parents. Children are humans and can decode good and bad, right and wrong, violence and peace, hate and love.

you should rather work on taking good care of your family rather than absolving your wrongs in the matra of only mothers are taken care of, only then will you be loved and remembered always by your children.

You think when you constantly abuse the mother of your children (physically and emotionally) and those children just stand bye innocently and helplessly, observing everything, sometimes from their room curtain, sometimes crying and shouting to leave their mother alone and even have to go to bed hungry and crying as you have vowed to punish the family because you feel they wrong you etc. you think they forgot? They have always remember and will one day remind you when they are favoured in life. They may decide to forgive you but your conscience may not be able to eat that money or stay in that house in peace as it will always hunt you.

husbands should be wise by taking good care of their family and also create/spend mutual time with their children and they will be loved and forever remember. Children are not junkies, they remember all. Husbands, becareful how you treat your family, wife be careful how you treat your family.

Family is like a business, you have to spend time building, nurturing, loving and investing seriously into it if you intend to reap from it. Family is like a fixed deposit account. Family is like a form of assurance insurance that you don't have to visit a formal organization to register, only if you are faithful with your premium. The family premium is love, good care and more good care.

Are you aware that a lot of men these days are suffering from emotional abuse from their wives? the fact that they are too shy to share their experience does not mean all is well ?

Fathers need to be very careful with the way they handling the family especially the children, we men hustle to make the ends meet for the family yet this children will never see our struggle and eventually give all the kudos to their mother, buying them a lot of things and care for them 100 times before could even remember one father is existing somewhere

That true but the main reason remains most Nigerian Dad are very strict.Yes!!!!they do their best to provide but that vibe is not there.I sometime joke and talk to my mother as if she is my sister and female friend but I can't do that with my dad.Ozo in Big brother was always taking about his dad,that if he has up of 70% of his father character,he will be a great father and man that alone will make you understand that he always vibe and gist with his father.
But no matter how it is, what I do for my mum,I must do for my dad,because i know how I try his best to provide for us even if we are not very clhildren remember only their mother.
