Rapmoney:Rubbish write up. How is it that many are hailing this garbage? Wow! I could settle down and dissect this empty write up and show why it is empty, but I have better things to expend my energy on. Mr motivational speaker. Mmhmm! |

sammirano:Boss, ranking of grade, school or any other BS does not really matter in the real world. What matters is skill. Judging people by ranking especially when it comes to education is complete BS. |

Enceladus:That skill you just mentioned is contingent upon your IQ, that is why some people will go to school and earn a first-class and others will get 2.2. Like it or not, there are some skills some people cant acquire because they are just mentally lazy and incapacitated. They can't help it. |

MISSCONGENIALITY:Actually discovering yourselves is only 1/3 of actualizing your plans in a place like Nigeria, but having skills, digital skills is extremely important in a country like this |

TheLionofLasigi:Best comment ever!!!!! So happy to see a comment like this... don't mind Op, this is how they mislead ppl and kill the self esteem of those innocent graduates. Most of them do not know what labour market is all about, they will just start typing anything that comes to their hand. In the real sense, most companies do not care about ur grade any longer ( tho, few still do) majority of them are after u making money for them. |

sammirano:Partially true. Graduating with 2.2 doesn't necessarily mean low IQ !!. I had a lecturer in medical school teaching Anatomy, the guy graduated with 2.2 and he was employed as a lecturer in his first week as a NYSC corper with a pre-contract. They obviously saw something in him that his certificate wasn't showing. The truth is that the education system is broken. Einstein once said "Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid", and that is exactly what the education system does. |

1:1, 2:1 is no different from 2:2 considering the comatosing Nigerian economy. relegating the rest is height of iberiberism as far as Nigeria I'd concerned |

Just do your Masters and it overtakes the 2.2...do a PhD and it replaces the Masters...pair with Relevant Certifications and work place experience and that dream job, would still be possible. |

If you studied accounting, start a process of certification to chartered accountant. ICAN or ANAN is good to boost your cert and job marketability You can also purse your job career if you re good in IT to information system auditing ie CISA Frankly speaking, 2.2 or lower credit cannot give you wider opportunities than 2.1/firstclass. Last week, FG said that they will employ teachers as from January 2021 and it is only those with first class and 2.1 holders can be employed. |
