I just canceled my appointment for Lagos and the available date I am seeing in Abuja is 4th January, 2021, I just booked it. My question now is that, my confirmation number for my DS-160 I filled for Lagos is still on the appointment confirmation for Abuja. Hope there won't be issue and also, do I have to fill another DS-160

Have you been denied visa before? Is this a regular date?
Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 15 by omomayelakesi: 3:00pm On Nov 18, 2020
I used the mailed copy but I think the one printed from your email can also be used. As for noticing people with soft copy I-20 (emailed I-20) I didn't pay attention to the type of I-20 people presented.

I advise you should refill another DS-160 and update your profile with it at least 2days before your appointment date. I believe they do pre-evaluation before each candidate shows up and for you, they will have no DS-160 information to evaluate you with which could cause a reject. So just update your profile with the new DS-160 and you should be fine.

Hello house , greetings to the gurus in the house. My son has been denied F1 Visa once (last year) and I believe it's mainly becos of his i20 form. The form did not get here before his appointment date so we went to the embassy with the downloaded version . Said VO asked him twice why he did not come with the original cope before she denied him.

Fast forward to present day, I've applied to UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI-KANSAS CITY , mechanical engineering. Undergrad program. He's 19 years and he's been out of secondary school since 2018. He's currently taking a cert course with Aptech. Please I want to know if he needs to take any other test before his visa interview next year and also do undergrad also get full funding cos I've been reading alot of trnascript and the word "full funding " came up alot.

I would appreciate any info , input house. God bless and its really my desire for him to study abroad . Thanks all in anticipation

It depends on how academically sound your son is ..... if he has a strong profile , gpa score. Ssce result and sat then yes some schools can give him some scholarship or funding off his tuition . So if he hasn't taken SAT maybe he needs to

I am personally curious to why he hasn't started uni in naija. The 2018 is now 2 years ago and God forbid if he get denied again that almost enough years to have gone half way a bsc in naija. Isnt that risky putting all eggs into this abroad going basket ?.

Mail the embassy and inform them.
What they will tell you is to bring passport on your interview day but mail them first.

He hasn't gained admission , plus he's currently awaiting admission with futa but the Assu strike hasn't helped at all. Please which one is gpa score though cos to the best of my knowledge all he has right now is his SSCE result and he did well.

For the SAT , he has not written but would Enroll him so he can start prepping for that. Thanks @Lagosismyhome for the advice. I appreciate

Initiate the transaction online and generate a payment transaction slip and send to him to take to western union... he should walk in to WU office.

Prepare to pay extra 10usd to western union as charges

I applied for an emergency date in Lagos and was denied on Monday. However, I still saw the emergency date option on my page so I applied for emergency again but didn't get a reply. I cancelled my Lagos appointment this afternoon and choose Abuja with same MRV. Scheduled January 6th. Then I applied for an emergency date again and was approved in less than an hour. Now I have scheduled Dec 9th.

I know that was strange to have used emergency request 3 times with same MRV, but this was simply God's grace to me.
