It is a shame that we even have to rely on foreign journalists and TV stations to get a clearer view of what happened at the lekki toll gate.
Shame on Our journalists

The very few journalists that wanted do the right thing were fined and sanctioned. It's high time we protest what NBC is doing to fair journalism in Nigeria.

BBC Reporter, Damilola Banjo probably a yoruba muslim will twist the stories to favour her paymasters -Tinubu and Buhari. She may work for BBc but she is Nigerian. She may have been given brown envelope too to write in favour of the govt.

May the fate that befell those who died at Lekki Toll gate fall on those who are trying hard to cover up the atrocities committed by the army. Including all the youths and BMC crew and all supporters of this evil govt on this issue.

And CNN was the first dat reported 1/10/2010 Bomb blast at eagle square,,,,,

Una no de tire? The army said they were there but fired into the air to scare away the protesters. Besides how come up till now we don't have the any known person that was killed there?

So ...what were they doing in the hospitals the next day, just after the shooting?! Why did the army say they were not there at first, then kept changing the story?! Are you trying to say that over 500 protesters lied that there was shooting?! Do you think prominent people like femi falana, Reno Omokri, e.t.c are lairs and should not be taken seriously?!

Let BBC n CNN do a report of what happened in Oyigbo, Rivers State.

Are those killed there not also Nigerians?

The Oyibo dead were connected to Biafra seen by foreign owners of Nigeria’s crude oil as interfering in their business. Sections of Nigeria love it so.

Nigeria only has FLAG INDEPENDENCE.

And u didn’t see the guy in the video released by cnn with an excerpt video of his dead brother but they can’t find the dead body of his brother till today?

Isn’t that enuf to prove that the army carted away dead bodies of those they killed ?

you make sense! and i don't even know why by now they still doubting the event of that day. it took no rocket science to know the Army shot at protesters and people died!

All these report sef i don't care and e no move me, with all i've read so far and heard. Nigerian leaders are Heartless. infact we have no leaders just thief politicians who seemed to be all Dictators hiding under the Umbrella of democracy whereas none in Nigeria

Prior to the lekki shooting day we have seen videos of Hired Thugs by Politicians Trying to demonize The Endsars movement. We already knew Those stupid politicians been looking for ways to stop the protest?

On Normal Day The Army shouldn't be present at the lekki toll gate cuz that location happened to be the only Peaceful Venue! Their presence alone means President, Tinubu and that Puppet Lagos Governor Plus Buratai are all stupid and Heartless and they will all die soon and burn in hell cuz their hands are not clean.
Jake19:
BBC were present at the venue and gave their report but anyone who watch the CNN report and still say there is no massacre at the lekki toll gate on that day is heartless.

Mr forget it, nigeria is not a shithole for nothing.

This morning I watched salami on AIT morning program, saying that they would have shown the video from CNN's account but can not do so because the NBC will sanction them.

This should tell you that even many victims of the lekki incident are scared to speak up. You and I know how it's going with DJ switch, imagine an ordinary man on the street. If a whole government of a country can pay hoodlums to attack its citizens, why wouldn't same government pay a regular agbero to delete a commoner in the street should he or she speak too much?

With lekki shooting, I can now believe 900% that northern government are behind boko haram and herdsman for their own foolish gain.
So you mean that out of 78 people abi 39 poelpe all of them are scared to speak out?

They are also so scared to mention the names of the dead family on social media?

Not even one!

But CNN was not even there!! How can they shoot for hours and you can’t find any dead bodies and multitude of injured persons on the ground?

But why will someone who claims to be educated be thinking like this?

So, is it not possible for the soldiers to shot some rounds into the air, and some into the crowd? Did they not give them orders? You think they will want to kill more persons than they can hide? You think they don't know that shooting about 3 or 4 is enough to get everyone away from the scene? Did Lagos State Government not say 2 was killed? Is it not possible for them to be economical with the truth?

Like, you have a brain, and it was given to you for a purpose. Damn!

Towards the end of the video, DJ Switch made comments regarding she doesn't know what is gonna happen to her, her carrier and all her bookings are gone but that all she has will be used to tell the story.
This speaks more to the fact that there is an underlying motive and I am sure she is using the claims to step and achieve towards cashing out big from the Lekki incident. Truly i believe so much there are some unsubstantiated claims.

The 2 procedure were different
CNN investigates and analyse video evidence

BBC correspondence gave an eyewitness report up to the time she was there

It's 2 end of a continuum
Re: Lekki Shootings: CNN Vs BBC Video Report. Who Do You Think Gave A True View? by abimic(m): 6:25pm On Nov 19, 2020
My take, BBC investigation is on the spot assessment, but CNN is well detailed, educative and informative, but who is saying the truth? Government would prefer BBC report to CNN while the masses would prefer CNN to BBC but whichever way, the truth would come out better someday no matter how long it takes.

How come we still do not know who ordered the Army there in the first place. Why are they afraid to own up if there's no hidden agenda. Remember that if soldiers were not there in the first place, we won't be here looking for what is not lost.

I don’t think it is because of laziness, they are scare of their own lives and their pay checks.

Even a whole TV station that broadcast some of the peaceful protesting were fined by NBC, how common journalists no go fear?

Don’t be surprise that, some of these ‘BBC’ and ‘CNN’ reports are been channeled to them anonymously or under strict non-disclosure stipulations from Nigerian Journalists who are afraid to append their names to the reports.

Don't be quick to castigate Nigerian reporters.
CNN and BBC operates in a society that encourages and value freedom of speech and Press Freedom.
What we have have is a dictator and propaganda government that doesn't want people to be informed. All their laws are geared towards gagging the press.
I watched Channels Tv reporting the crisis live that day and showing people that witnessed the whole incident. The reporter even held two bullets picked from the scene.
But I guessed NBC had made them delete that video from their site.
But thank God for Youtube

Up till now there is a daily update on covid 19, from march till now do you know just one person that contacted it or died from it. Asides hearsay or news. Do you know a friend that know a friend that have a friend that knows someone that have a friend that suffered covid 19. If No does it discredit there wasnt covid in nigeria.
Govt and police came out to tell us the aftermaths of endsar chaos & looting claimed over 30 officer lives. Till date did we see any of there faces or bodies, why have they not honoured the family of the deceased officers on live tv to collaborate there claim.
The govt of the day is military in disguise, Dj switch could afford to run abroad, how many of the family of those decease can afford to run afford if they speak up. These is nigeria live is worth nothing.
