PLAGIARIZED EPISODE 38 EPISODE TITLE- Amilo Raphayes Festus looked up at Samuel, Really looked up at him as if just noticing him for the first time, he noticed the way his eyebrows raised a centimetre or two, lined with something between worry and concern in his eyes.... "Why are you looking at me like that..?"Samuel queried turning his face away... "I just want to see if it's really you making this decision..."Festus said stepping backwards, towards the chair he has sat earlier... Samuel cast his eyes to the ground, his mouth forming a full frown, he raise his gaze only to settle it on Dr Charana... "My decision stands.."He said atlas moving his gaze from Dr Charana to Festus as if looking for a nod to concur to his statement..., when he got none but a frozen stare, he revert his gaze to her again ..."I want them dead, all of them..." "You can't just go on killing people without any good reason.."Festus said immediately... "My safety is enough reason.."Samuel fling back......"The dog you spare today will come back to bite you..., so I'm cutting it down and getting it buried.." "These people you want to kill has done nothing, absolutely nothing to you.."Festus said, his voice raising as his anger festered on him "They're related to Anita and that Susan threatened me.., she had the guts to threaten me..."Samuel said with curled lips.. "So you're scared of her..?"Festus ask tilting his head forward..."Didn't you once told me they can do nothing..." Samuel stilled as the thought of his own words began to echo in his head... "If you ask my opinion.."Dr Charana chime in dropping the envelope of pictures in her side...."Killing them will be a total waste of time.., you already got Anita.." Samuel grunts, just then the memories of that moment Susan threatened him began to play over and over in his head, it angered him more..... "My decision is final..."He said "You should rethink...?"Dr Charana said... Samuel turn to face her with the alertness of the words.."Your job is to do what i say and mine to pay you for a job well done..., I don't need your opinions which means your words are not relevant.., I want them dead and I want them dead tonight..." Dr Charana inhale wondering the amount of foolishness that his wealth has created in him...."What about Anita.., does she also needs to be finished off cos from the way I see it, she's already done for.., with her current state, she no longer knows if you exist.." "On second thought I don't want her dead.."Samuel said walking towards her....."I want her to be alive while I break the news of her entire family's death to her...., I want the news to jostled up her craziness....." "This is crazy.."Festus said with nibbed lips...."You're getting crazy man.." "Oh yes I'm crazy.."Samuel shouted.."And that's why I want them dead to be freed of this insane fear that one-day they will get back at me to steal away what they never worked for...." "If this is the decision you've taken.."Dr Charana said wearing her glasses..."I'll expect my total agreed money after the deal is done..." "I'll double it for a smooth job..." "Okay then.."She said dropping the envelope on her handbag...."You'll be hearing from me soon."She added, turn her gaze towards Festus before she spun around and began to head towards the door only to be stopped by Samuel's voice... "Make sure Susan suffers a slow painful and horrible death..."Said Samuel Dr Charana nodded, opened the door and left... "You're officially crazy.."Festus said walking over to the fridge to grab a çan of water..., he drank a bit of it and put the rest back in.., he took a deep breathe as he dwell upon what Samuel just did..., he turn back to face him with intentions of telling him to stop whatever he plans doing but his words got stuck in his mouth when his eyes fell on Success climbing down from the staircase..., her face smouldering with frown lines.. Samuel saw her and took away his face before he trot towards the fridge to get himself a bottle of beer..... "Call it off.."Success said with knitted brows... Samuel looked her way but too slow to be normal..., he looked at her for a bit and took his face off her.... "Do you hear me..?"Success queried angrily walking towards him..."Call it off.. " "Call what off..?"Samuel retorted, his forehead creasing with the question "The attack.."Success said stopping a few steps from him.."What are you thinking..., killing Anita's family and Susan..." Samuel sniffle and gulp down a bit of the beer before shifting his furious gaze at her.., the more they try telling him what to do, the more infuriated he is....."Why..?"He said, the corners of his mouth folding into a sneer.."Because they're your friends..?" Success frown at the question.."No.., because it isn't the right thing..., killing them won't bring you anything but regrets.." "Let me worry about that.."Samuel said back before taking another swing of the drink... "You don't understand..." "Yes I understand perfectly well..."Samuel fling back.."I understand you trying to protect your friends.." "This isn't about protecting them, this is about protecting you from yourself..., you're crazy.." "Then let me be crazy.."Samuel sneer and took another gulp down of the beer..... "You already made Anita mad and crippled Susan, isn't that enough for you.?" Samuel look away, he already made a decision and he have no intention of changing his mind, once again the fear of loosing everything came troubling him, Susan's words, the weight of what Anita's action had done to him rip deep into him and he fear someone somewhere is waiting.., waiting for the right time to continue from where Anita stopped.., perhaps if he annihilate all of them.., it will spread fear into the heart of anyone looking forward to dare him in the future..... "Call it off...?" "Or what..?"Samuel sneer..."You'll tell the police, or you will run to them and tell them everything I've planned.." Success sigh as fear creep into her heart..., Samuel isn't the one she once fancy, the one standing before her is a different person, a devil and she fear one day he isn't only going to end with Anita or Susan...., the spears might come for her too... "I begin to fear for our safety the very day you sent thugs to break Susan's legs.., do you even know who her brother is..?" "Brother..!"Festus chime in..."We were told she have no siblings..." Success scoffs..."Well whoever did your findings didn't do a good job..." "If she have a brother.. "Festus said taking a step towards her..."Where is he..?" "They've been separated for years...., they only interact from a distance.. " "Who is her brother..?"Samuel ask anxiously "Trust me, you don't want to know.." "Who is her brother...?"Samuel ask again, a muscle involuntarily twitching in the corner of his mouth... "Amilo Raphayes...."Success blare out..."Ever heard of him..?" "Amilo Raphayes..!"Festus reiterated...."The notorious criminal...?" "And the Lord of the gang that called themselves the invisibles. "Success added before she revert her gaze back to Samuel..."That's the kind of family you're messing with.." "If you know this, why didn't you tell us earlier..."Festus said with a cringe at Samuel.. "Well I warned him not to raise a finger on Susan, you guys don't listen to anything I say..." "If Amilo is truly her brother..."Samuel chime in.. "Why hasn't him come to see her....?" "Why do you think..?"Success ask back with a shrug..."Amilo knows if he comes see Susan, people will find out the relationship between them and that will be putting Susan in danger, Susan would have been long dead if Amilo hasn't gotten out of her life and gone far away.." "He hasn't gotten out of her life if they communicate from a distance... "Festus interjects... "Amilo is a hardened criminal and he's wanted by the police..., he can't come here.."Samuel said reassuring himself of been freed from any imminent danger.. "You're rich already Samuel.."Success said, her voice rumbling down..."Don't do this.., call off the attack..., I'm begging you, not just because they're my friends but for your damn sake and ours..., don't put us all in danger because you're scared of someone who's mad and a crippled person...." She stole one last glance from him before she took heels to the staircase....., Festus watched till she vanished out of sight.... "She's right you know.."Festus said folding his hands..."You're going to put all of us in danger because of your selfish reason..." "My selfish reason.. !"Samuel reiterated angrily..."My selfish reason is the reason you're here, living in this big house, my selfish reason puts fine clothes and good food in your body.." "You don't need to count.." "Oh I'm going to.."Samuel replied with curled lips..."If you're not with me, you can fuvk off.." "Yes.."Festus said raising his hands above his head..."I'm fùcking off.."He added walking pass him "Festus.." Festus stopped taking a deep breathe as he spun around to face him... "I'm going to give you the same option as I gave Success."Samuel said with all form of seriousness..."You're either with me or against me." Festus nibbed as he find Samuel's words rather funny than annoying.., not bothering to give him the dignity of a reply, he turn back and walked out on him... Samuel swallowed hard before he gulp down the remaining beer.... ***************** "Amilo Raphayes.."Major Lafera said underlining the name with a marker on the white board..., he cupped the marker and turn around to face the rest of the team...."Amila Raphayes.."He restated walking towards the long centre table.., on the table was arranged their different computers and weapons.., he looked at the faces of his agents as if he was trying to read their minds before he continued..."Four years ago, this man Amilo Raphayes was part of the gang that robbed Dumbos museum making away with a box of golds worth millions of dollars...., for a long time, nobody heard anything about him or his gang until just six months ago..." After stealing a glance from George, Theresa binch a brief smile and fold her hands.... "Our men at the border had confirmed Amilo Raphayes and his gang instituted the massacre that happened at the borders to the east of Cameroun...., after the bloody shootout, six pounds of cocaine was found on the ground...."He took a pause but only to observe the expression of his men... George heaved a sigh and move an inch from his standing position.. "Intels gathered says those pounds of cocaines were been transported on Carlos order.."Major Lafera added.. "So Amilo is working for Carlos.."Roy chime in with a cringe at Theresa... Theresa noticed the odd look and quickly look away... "A month ago.."Major Lafera continued walking towards the pictures pinned on the white board...."Amilo was seen with this man in the republic of Benin, southwestern Nigeria...."He added pointing at a picture...."The man is identify as Jadan, one of Carlos right hand men..." "So how is this connecting sir..?"Roy ask "Amilo Raphayes is a hardened criminal.."Theresa interjects.."For years the authorities have been searching for him.., are you proposing we go for him....?" "Patient agents.."Major Lafera said..."Two days ago our station at the borders report someone claiming to be part of Amilo's gang was ready to snitch..." "Snitch..!"George reiterates...."It could be a detour..." "I also think so."Major Lafera said.."But In a way I think he was really ready to rat out the gang..., he was shot dead the moment he got out of the office.., it was a sniper.., it was hard to trace.., the killer left the scene before our agents could trace where the bullet flew from.." "So what did he snitched about..?"Roy ask "I was told he said he knows a way we can get Amilo Raphayes..." "How.?"George ask curiously "I was told he didn't say much, infact his intel was an impasse.., he said Amilo was always on the call with someone dear.., a sister he calls Peppa. " "Amilo has a sister..?"Roy said jokingly... "So we were told.."Major Lafera replied... "It's a deadlock.."Theresa chimes in.."Anyone could be Peppa.." "We wanted a link.., Amilo Raphayes is one.., if we can get his sister, we'll fish him out from his hiding and if we have Amilo Raphayes, we have Carlos.. " **************** For a moment Susan stare at the diary struck between calling him or not.., but she knew if she needed vengeance for what Samuel did to her, she had to dive at her most efficient option and calling him was the only way out..., she wipe off the tear from her eye and flip the diary pages to where she had written his number.., when she saw it, she took a pause as her head broods over the decision she was taking... After a while, she pick up the phone Henry had giving her after hers got crushed by her attackers..., she waited a while, there the horror of that night began to come like flashes in her head.., the punches, the kicks and finally the car tyres driving mercilessly on her legs.., it provoked her more, igniting a fresh fire, a fresh passion to get back at him.., she didn't hesitate before she dialled the number..., she waited, her heart pounding like she had run for miles.., when the call dropped without him answering, she dropped the phone... It's been four months since he last reached her.., everyday she feels afraid, afraid of been totally alone, of been on her own without one to call..., a tear drip from her eyes but she wipe them off before it could fall from her face.. When the phone vibrated on the table, she lowered her gaze and it was the number calling her back..., she heaved a deep sigh, hesitated a bit before she pick the phone up and pressed the answer button.... "Brother.."She mutter but no answer came, there she remenbered what he had told her years ago.., whenever she calls, she has to say the right words...the code only the two of them knows.... "Mummy loves us.."She said and the tear she never wanted came like streams down her cheeks...., as it dropped, she grieve for his reply..., for the voice of her only hope.... What a twist. When I was here thinking God will fight for susan, I find out Susans brother is actually karma. Abeg Silver change that Peppa to Pepper(Cameroun). Thanks for the update. Carlos is looking for his money and may find out Samuel was at the house through the captured guy, the agents know, and now Susans brother.
