Sept 24.
I hope insurance/aiico bargain hunters took this serious then.
Small time, you will be paying for this free services.................shebi Mcy is unprofessional ni. grin

Aiico which you refused to buy at 79-82 kobo range is now 1.01 and you're queuing up at this price...........Una weldone.

Aiico still does not have the respect of the investing public. If one looks at the trading pattern over the last two or so years, aiico's price goes up when an insider is buying large chunk of shares. It goes on full bid for a while with price appreciation after which it settles and the price gradually depreciates again. For me though, the fundamental compelling investment thesis remains. The market will eventually come to terms with it. Having said this, as an insurance company, I am currently concerned on the impact the recent ENDSARS riots will have on the 2020 financials of the company. Whatever it is though will be short lived.

You are totally right about AIICO, the manipulations within the company has been going on for a while.

I even heard they will be doing share reconstruction.

Nigeria, Africa’s biggest economy, has entered its second recession in five years as official figures published on Saturday show that the economy shrank again in the third quarter of this year.

This year’s recession, ocassioned by the economic fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic, is worse than that of 2016.

The National Bureau of Statistics, in its Gross Domestic Product report for Q3, said the GDP, the broadest measure of economic prosperity, fell by 3.62 in the three months to September.

Economists consider two consecutive quarters of shrinking GDP as the technical definition of a recession.

For the first time in more than three years, the Nigerian economy shrank in the second quarter of this year as the GDP fell by 6.10 per cent, compared with a growth of 1.87 per cent in Q1.

Good day Smart Investors,
Pls can someone help explain to me how our economy is in a recession and GTB stocks just keeps going up and up?
My plan was to wait for it to go down and then buy next year but it’s gone so high as not sure what’s going on.

Also if you could in any way also forecast what’s likely to happy to it next year it would be highly appreciated.
Thanks

Those Nigerian banks steal from the people.
I heard they've now introduced charges even for failed transactions.
Where I live, banks hardly make deductions from your money even after transactions sometimes, and when they do, it's always an insignificant amount.
