Hello I want to get a generator to use one in a while when I have extended power outage and my inverter runs down. I have power most of the time (18-20 hours) per day. My inverter fills up the few hours of blackout.
I want to get a gen for the few times in months when we go over a day+ without light.
The generator can go 2 months with coming on,
Kindly advice if this generator is OK or there is a better one. I want a portable sound.

Just get solar panels connected to your inverter. Its about 48k for top grade. You need just 3 or 6. You will never need a gen. I haven't used it in yrs. Recently gave out my old gen. If you need help DM me.

if not for the fact you want a new generator, I might advice you get a used one of around 2.5kva 35-45k max.... while I needed a gen I got a theremocool bobo 2.5kva very good condition....and it doesn't consume fuel.

I use 500 naira fuel for 7.5hrs or more and I haven't had any single issue I also power my freezer and 50" tv 6bulbs, two standing fan...and electric sewing machine too....

but I think it all depends on how you can maintain your generator.
new tec might be very expensive, you might go for elepaq constant, or get used gen...my both gen are used and since I got them I haven't repaired anything in both...
Where did you get the generators from , pls? I need very good 2.5kva or 3.0 kva generator, either new or used. Budget is 70k at most. Pls, advise me.

Low fuel consumption
Etc...

Please help me out. I reside in Lagos, so you can also tell me where I can get the generator. Thank you for your anticipated response.

i think giwa building that street is filled with generator set...but the price you pay will be dependent on your negotiating power. if they call for you at 70k Price it 35k...but be firm on your price
if they don't sell you can always find another seller they plenty there so try to go round the market.. till you're satisfied. good luck sir

Phone number verification using a real US number: I can verify offerup/letgo, eBay, Amazon, Facebook and all US sites that don’t accept virtual numbers. I can also setup google voice.

Hi All,

Please i need help with buying brand new gen.

Back in the day i knew lutian gens were the bomb just want to know if that is still the case? Any lutian gen users who share their experience of fuel and oil economy?

If you have recommendations for other Gens that have good fuel economy as well as oil

I am looking at 3.5KVA for a 55inch TV, 1hp A/c and standing fan and 420litre fridge

Thanks in advance...
buy tec and have rest of mind

Thanks for the response, I bought the gen because I thought I could use it to power AC, I think I will have to buy another one, so what's your suggestion? And if I use the first one I bought for just 1hp AC will it last??

it happened to me too I wanted to buy a gen that can power AC I had spg3000 in mind but I later got the spg4000 along with 1hp lg inverter AC it worked well for about 5 months before piston and rings became bad I changed it did not last for long eventually I gave the generator out and got a tec generator main reason why I got the Gen is because I have a friend using it for over a year now to power his 1.5hp AC for over a year and no fault. I took a pic of the load chart as inscribed on the Generator

how much is original spark plug. the once I am buying at 200 are fake.

Lookout for a Reputable Generator parts dealer and ask for Sumec Sparkplug. I usually buy them in like pairs of 500x5 and keep whenever I go to buy Sumec Engine Oil.
