Hello all, I just paid another MRV fee so I can request another interview date. My current appointment date is way beyond the school resumption date. Do I cancel the current appointment before scheduling a new one or will I be able to without cancelling? Thanks for your replies.

Why are you going for Petroleum Engineering? Go for Chemical Engineering where you can easily secure funding. Chemical Engineering is enormous compare to Petroleum Engineering and well funded. Maybe you should also try to write GREand TOEFL because I believe you dont have those tests.

What were you wearing please?

A guy on suit was denied yesterday.

In your opinion what do you think a guy should wear to look like a student

Wear what you are most comfortable with. At my first appearance, it was a work day so I wore a suit without my tie because I had it in mind that I would go to work should I not get it. I got it and other appearances are done deal and I dressed the way I wanted.

If you are going for graduate studies and you work in a corporate organization, I would suggest business casual in the least which in my opinion implies that you are not desperate and neither are you idle. If you work in the civil service, you could wear a native since you can wear whatever you choose to work.

For an undergraduate, I am not sure anyone will read so much to your dressing so please be very comfortable and confident with whatever you wear.

I hope this helps.

Congratulations. There are atleast 2 Nigerian Ladies in UNT's PhD Chemistry. I can link you up with them. They are nice people. If you also need help with anything you can PM me. Go mean green!

Are you an alumni or a current student? Interestingly, my roommate graduated yesterday so I watched the commencement ceremony live. Forever a Mean Green Eagle.

not really, I just paid my sevis fee on Monday and I’ve already gotten my appointment date since October. I didn’t even apply for expedited interview. And I read here about someone who got expedited without paying sevis too
What's the disagreement? Paying your sevis fee should be the first thing on your mind as you need it during the interview. Whether you book an appointment first or not doesn't change the fact.

That's the only thing I would say.

VO: What do you write about?
Me: I write lyrical essays about losses, cities, people and places and the contradictions of contemporary life. As a writer, I don't see people or places for who they're or what they're but the stories that made them. I see a bridge and I want to know the story behind it. Did people try to blow it up during a civil war? What will life be like without it? I have written about my experiences about places I have been to. I write about these things because stories matter and shape how we see the world, people and ourselves. I submitted some of these essays to the admission committee.

Interesting read. I guess stories well written are truly captivating. Congratulations!

Go to the Internet banking of your GTBank then login and go to the airline and travel section and click on pay visa fee USA and you will see where to print your receipt there which is different from the one you posted here.

Thanks walspring, I tried the process you stated, but I always receive an error message.
