What about LOI, when should we expect it?

It normally comes with the counterfoil. But Lagos office sha... Things are working on a different wave length there. Hopefully, you'll get it before 6pm today. If not, then tomorrow. If you don't see it tomorrow, please don't hesitate to mail them at once.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Dovelove543: 2:13pm On Nov 24, 2020
I really can't say. Haven't sent any message to them of late. The last I send was mid-week last week wanting to know the status of my application. Maybe give 24 hours interval and see if things will improve.

I’m not sure bout this, my friend who is here to DIDNT and hasn’t gotten a mail from neither VFS nor IRCC, but Counterfoil dropper and status changed to approved

He should check his spam box. It's only those who sent to the Abuja office that do not always get emails. Or maybe there's a mistake with his email address somewhere. If he tracks his application online, I bet that it's showing "being processed at the IRCC office".

Please when applying. Do I select work an essential part of my schooling??
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Dame24: 2:17pm On Nov 24, 2020
Select yes if your program has CO-OP (Internship)
You’ll have to upload evidence of CO-OP

CBT speaking holds on the same day as the other sections. When applying, you'll select your preferred time for the speaking test.

With IDP/MOD, CBT holds at Yaba, Lagos. CBT tests holds almost everyday.

With British Council, there are different CBT centres in different states.

Try to book a test on the website of both bodies, you'll see available dates. You don't have to complete the booking till you're ready.

You and I are in the same situation. There is radio silence at the moment on our cases. I think (and someone told me too) that it seems they divided our batch into at least two sub-groups to treat. Those who got VFS email yesterday and further updates today are in one sub-group which I hope is random. We are obviously in a different sub-group hopefully not deliberate but a random workflow routine. We will know more later in the week or next Monday. We can only start worrying if a different batch gets result ahead of us, then that would be a thing to worry about. Keeping hope alive!

I haven’t received any single mail from VFS since the 4th I submitted my passport, but I have gotten my counterfoil, status have changed to approved and just got two mails from IRCC. Correspondence letter (I guess that’s the Letter of introduction). I called on 11th VFS to get my tracking ID.

It has ended in praise.

Getting nothing this week implies a postponement of my flight which incurs extra 100k. I booked it towards over a month after passport submission so it wasn't like I rushed. I really regret submitting to Lagos VFS and wouldn't mind taking it back and sending to Abuja even if I ll need to pay extra fees. I don't know why a bunch of folks can be so unprofessional and reckless in work processes. Error mails, unreachable phones, stupid timelines and faulty trackers. Later someone will come and say we re mailing them too much and they can refuse us for that

Nah. No mail in spam and, I marked anything VFS or IRCC as important in my mail too. When I called to make complaint about the mail ish, the lady said nothing she could do, she only asked me to send mail to Vfs Lagos which I did. They only replied yesterday, with nothing valuable.

Anyways just happy it went well. I suggest I’d you haven’t gotten a single mail from Vfs after you submitted your passport just make sure you get your tracking ID
