Using the CRS and hoping that I score at least 7.5 in all sections of IELTS, my score is 390 which I feel it's a bit low. Yes, my dad can put the money in my account for 4months. UWindsor requests a down payment of $4k but I'm thinking I should pay all d first semester tuition of about $10k. Is that good enough?
Insanity:

Your US Visa denials have no effect on your Canadian Study Permit Application, you must declare in your SP application that you were denied and state the dates in the given section to avoid 5year visa ban.

UWindsor is a good school and your sponsor transferring the money to your account is a good idea too. Just make it 4 months prior to your application, and he should explain the lodgement of the funds in his sponsorship letter.

You have a good profile and career progression fi your going for Masters(you didn't say), however, don't you think Express Entry will be better for you. Mid 20s, good occupation with experience. You can check your CRS points and weigh your options.

Let wait for the gurus to give more insight.

Goodluck!

Hi Kimkalash,
I think you, Akinntommy andBlackmaann have the same profile. I would advise you all to keep in touch with one another in case things evolve. One thing I know, we all are going to rejoice together.

Kimkalash:
Getting nothing this week implies a postponement of my flight which incurs extra 100k. I booked it towards over a month after passport submission so it wasn't like I rushed. I really regret submitting to Lagos VFS and wouldn't mind taking it back and sending to Abuja even if I ll need to pay extra fees. I don't know why a bunch of folks can be so unprofessional and reckless in work processes. Error mails, unreachable phones, stupid timelines and faulty trackers. Later someone will come and say we re mailing them too much and they can refuse us for that

Yes, thank you. I intend to declare it in my application and also state in my LOE that I got denied on the four occasions for reasons best known to the US, despite the fact that I went with authentic documents, and in many cases, none of my documents were evn checked, but I can't afford to give up on my dreams, so I decided to choose Canada, because I am sure I can get the same high level of education which is equivalent to that of the US.
Phatkayconcept:

USA visa denial doesn't have any direct impact on your Canada application. However, make sure you declare all rejection as appropriate.

On a practical note, USA visa requirement is different from that of Canada. So do yourself a great help by understanding and familiarizing yourself with the do's and don't of Canadian Study visa to enable you submit an approval worthy application.

Goodluck!

In terms of career progression, I intend joining the Research & development dept of a multinational Pharma company in Nigeria, like Novartis or Pfizer. Then gather some experience over the nxt 7-10yrs and set up my own pharma company in Nigeria(Since the UWindsor program also trains extensively on how to start up and manage pharmaceutical companies. Will the visa officer not look at it that many drugs are not produced in Nigeria.

The one with highest balance as main sponsor while the other will be a co-sponsor..

Good evening,
I'm applying for a Canadian study permit and I have couple of questions.

1. Do I have to be related to the sponsors?

2. What documents will I request from my sponsors to be submitted?

3. With tuition fee of $16,300 and cost of living of 11,500 totaling $27,800, what's the minimum amount the sponsor need to have in their account.

4. The space for extra documents; what other documents do I need to submit in that slot?

Hello!

I too just got accepted into the university of Manitoba and I'm looking to meet someone already schooling there.

And I'm supposed to resume January 11 but I can't cos there's no enough time to apply for visa and all that so I'm asking for a way to move the resumption until fall.

And also how to go about the Visa application process.

Thank you.

It means your passport is now with the embassy. When you get a notification that your passport is being processed, it means they're working on it at that time. When did you submit by the way?

Would that imply that IRCC received my passport 8 days ago and still has done nothing about it? Would it also mean that when IRCC begins to work on it, they update the status on the VFS server by themselves and not VFS?

That would be the conclusion from this. I still think they divided this thing into two parts. Obanidavid got his LOI and counterfoil last week despite submitting the same time as those who got it on the 11th. Same thing with bebzo. It means that they broke it into two streams.

Mine was supposed to start this Sept 2020. But I had to defer to Sept 2021 (my program does not have winter/spring start date). As per my application, I am waiting for my BVL/PPR {My GCMS shows that my SP has already been approved}.

HorlarJP:

Amen o, it must surely end in praise and my program is starting by January 6 and yours and what stage is your application?

But I doubt if my application will be sorted by then because some September applicants here are still told to be patient... Geez
