Good evening house!

Biometrics: 23rd of September

Medicals done on the 9th of October and passed on the 15th of October.

Noticed just one ghost update.

BVL 2nd November...PPR 3rd November.

Used a company account.

Please feel free to ask me anything.

Thank you!!

Congratulations .

There is God on my side tooo o. What God cannot do does not exist!!!!. I am also a September 11 applicant and I have not gotten ANY updates since my application was submitted.

I believe and hope, the delay will be an approval. My faith is strong!

You pple even get emails from VFS about your passport.... Me I have to manually track it on their platform daily grin.... The wait for passport stamping and return is now more tedious than the application process itself.

I’ve found old Chinese Kung fu movies to be a very healthy distraction from the constant mails refreshing and tracking. cheesy

It will end in praise!!

For those inquiring about the NSE, i had to research on it and found nothing relevant except it says "visa processing will take 20days" which isn't verifiable. i couldn't see peoples review on it and i would say to those that just got the NSE update should, should ignore it. WHY? because its more like once you submit those requirements, u automatically be registered under that visa processing platform which possibly isn't handled by IRCC and nobody has been on that platform before. Plus can you register and write ielts and have results out in 4weeks?

AGAIN READ THE LAST PARAGRAPH OF THE LETTER. IT SAYS IF YOU DONT SUPPLY THE REQUESTED DOCUMENTS, YOUR APPLICATION WILL BE PROCESSED ON NORMAL CHANNELS.

But if you are in doubt, please don't hesitate to research further.

Good morning, please does anyone have an idea of using Insurance companies for that NSE route. I really want to use NSE since I already have all the requirements, the only problem I have is that Firstbank doesn't give Mybank cert, so I was wondering if maybe I can use an Insurance company.

Oh wow. Are they no longer handling it by date or what? I was really hoping he would get some updates this week, it's now looking less likely.

insurance might be the same as investment company. I used this late last year. it didn't go well, at all. Presently, i used MY Fathr's company as sponsor. Please avoid the insurance company account statement.it is very risky

Hello Seyiki,

Don't defer yet. If I was in your shoe, I would have sent IRCC a webform or email notifying them of having no interest in NSE and advise them to proceed traditionally. You'd be surprise how your words could move a mountain. Even if it does work, at least you made at attempt and if it works, you may become the first Nigerian applicant to take the glory. In all, there is no harm trying.

All the best
How do we send the email

Using the CRS and hoping that I score at least 7.5 in all sections of IELTS, my score is 390 which I feel it's a bit low. Yes, my dad can put the money in my account for 4months. UWindsor requests a down payment of $4k but I'm thinking I should pay all d first semester tuition of about $10k. Is that good enough?

Yeah, you can pay the first semester tuition and transfer the rest of the funds to your personal account.
Your CRS is too low, though you can boost it with another certificate, BC in IT, LIMA or TEF can do that. But I think studies is the best route for you at the moment. Do you have admission already at Windsor? For which session?

In terms of career progression, I intend joining the Research & development dept of a multinational Pharma company in Nigeria, like Novartis or Pfizer. Then gather some experience over the nxt 7-10yrs and set up my own pharma company in Nigeria(Since the UWindsor program also trains extensively on how to start up and manage pharmaceutical companies. Will the visa officer not look at it that many drugs are not produced in Nigeria.

That's why you need to do a lot of research for your SOP. State figures, projections and the realistic goals you want to achieve in Nigeria with your Masters. Your post above is a good start, your major reason for choosing Windsor has to be your statement in parenthesis above, with weblink to the school startup page, just expand on it. You need to go deeper into the Pharm. industry in Nigeria.

This is what I did in my SOP, I am in the energy industry, I quoted projections from international organisations in Nigeria or abroad, with weblink to the articles, industry policies and upcoming projects. Anyone reading could see the future with me in it with my masters. I quoted the expected earnings in Naira and CAD for the future positions that I am gunning for if I achieve a foreign degree from Canada.

Also, I quoted lecturers at Windsor (Windsor is a member of an energy research institute) in the industry as the reason I am going to Windsor, with weblink to their profile, projects and website. My interest in them and what I hope to implement from the knowledge I will gain was also included.

Your SOP has to be very detailed like a paper, with references to your statements, such as documents you attached to your application and so forth. What ever you write on your SOP should have evidence, either attached to your application, or a weblink to the page etc.

Hello, with 8,7,7,7 that you recommended, my score is 429.

8777 won't give you the max for English Language on CRS, you will need 8.5, 7.5, 7.5, 7. With that score and two certificates in education (BCinIT or LIMA + your BSc) and/or TEF, you will be around the current draw scores.

When you got your approval last week, when did VFS send a mail that your passport arrived their office? Was it the next day or it took a while?

Please, anyone going to University of Windsor for Winter 2021? Let's plan the journey together and also discuss the quarantine plan from the university. Please, message me.

Please house, my lectures will resume January 7 2021, but I want to spend holidays with my family here this december before travelling around January 10 or so. Will this be a problem at POE for me?

Hi. I am. I intend travelling in January too though I've started classes online already.
You can travel in January but make sure its after January 4. The University will be closed from December ending till Jan. 4.

Hello Insanity,

In contribition to what you've said, I believe you meant to say CIMA or BCS in IT. BCS would be preferable because of the fast pace to CIMA. If RxOtunba can score CLB 7 in TEF and retake IELTS by maxing out, 472 would be achievable. Another option if lucky is get NOI for PNP.

One love bro

Please do we have to wait till VFS says they have received the passport before we pay for the return of the passport through their courier services?

Since your classes are online...it shouldn’t be an issue at POE. Recall that students currently traveling started their programs in August/September and they are just entering Canada now...
