What's the difference between it and the VBF. saw the current rate is over 14%
VBF is a balanced fund which invests in money market, fixed income and equities. VBF is not guaranteed.

I told you to convert your profit to cash, eg if you made a profit of N5 million from a trade to buy mmf or buy cheap real estate.

I think you bought Zenith at N17 and you were able to sell at N26. You should have converted at least N3 per share to savings. But you made profit and reinvested everything back into the market immediately. It doesn't work that way, if you must buy back you should do that in tranches.

VGIF by Investment one will still give you about 7.5% guaranteed return per annum
You told me to sell which I did. But my village people also told me to reenter the next day. grin
I have investment one VGIF.

It will become illiquid tomorrow.
Best time for potbelly jijoist to sell is yesterday and today.

We are already free in this one waiting for the next liquidity price.

AXA MANSARD INSURANCE PLC - Consolidation / reconstruction of shares

5. That, in accordance with Section 101 of CAMA and Article 44 of the Articles; the nominal value of the issued
ordinary shares of the Company be and is hereby altered from 50 kobo each to N2.00K each, by the
consolidation of every four (4) shares held by each shareholder into one (1) share.
My question is who will pay for the bloating of the books. If no one pays they the market price will make that adjustment for now. Meaning Mansaard may likely sell for sub 1 when the time comes but the trick of improving the EPS makes it confusing.

Can anyone help me here please?
Correct me if I am wrong. Abeg.

UCAP may likely pay above 60k if you go by the dividend yield of last dividend of 60%.

2019 eps 83k

What's the difference between it and the VBF. saw the current rate is over 14%
VBF - Vantage Balance fund is also a mutual fund. While VGIF is in the fixed income category with guaranteed capital and interest/income and major underlying asset on FGN Bonds, VBF on the other hand does not guaranteed capital and interest/income reason being that the major underlying asset is equity with some real estate and money market instrument. The reason for its doing well now is because of the current positive activities in the stock market.
VBF is more or less like investing in the stock market the difference is that you leave the picking of equities in the hands of the fund managers.
it's good but it's risky compare to VGIF. The 14% you see can become negative if the NSE goes south or can be higher if there is crazy bull at the floor of the NSE

They need to plough back into the business, they equally raised about N10 billion through bond late last year which they invested in the capital market and other underpriced assets and Investments. They will liquidate the bond in 5 years time.

They need to put about N2 billion into a sinking fund every year towards the liquidation of the bond, they will also need about N1.2 billion every year towards payment of coupons to the bond investors.

I don't think this is the right time for them to increase their dividend payout. 50k dividend by United Capital is still okay

We don move to Sterling bank.
We just finished the last mopping at 1.95 this morning.

If this fails,we go into the batch B mopping at 1.85 to sell the Batch B at #2.

Batch A also look promising if Fidelity bank will make a move.Target exit price is 2.25.

They changed it then. Thanks for the correction. The first document that was posted read 23rd November. Good luck to those buying in now. Mansard is a good coy with poor dividend history payment. Used to hold them before BTW.

Mcy, what do u think about Mansaard? I hate the science behind bonus shares but I would like to understand it too.
Boss, I'm still trying to figure it out.

Now: For 7units, 10 will be added = 243% increase.

Bonus: For instance: 100,000 units will become 243,000units
Reconstruction: 243,000 / 4 = 60,750units
Price: Will be reviewed up ...................after reconstruction price is what's still a bit confusing to me........

...........but how did you arrive at N2 in the first place? This should throw more light on it.

Make Una no mind my calculations o, correct if im wrong........ grin

You may be right.
Reconstruction most times have negative effect on the share price of the coy...........
I wont advice anyone that didnt enter the stock at around 1.50 to go into it........................again, I may be wrong, there may be exceptions, but for insurance, there's always apathy to the sector............. its just my opinion anyway.

Now that the NTB rates have been dropped further by about 50%, some investors would surely look for elsewhere to dump their cash and NSE would surely get some of it.

Is something about to come from Burundi?
The next 7 days would tell.
