The queen is obviously the strongest, but the question is favourite chess piece. I love the bishop because of their long range of attacking and defending properties especially in the endgames.

Its depends on the size and class you want, a chess board could cost as high as 30k but there are some for as low as 2500. design and class matters
Design and class does not matter at all. I've played chess with bottle tops for pieces with great fun.

learning the moves is not the problem, the problem is the technicality involved, attacking and defending your territories, making sacrifices, making choices and decision. wrong decision might lead to the death of a lot of people... Just imagine making decisions for a lot people which lead to their death when you make the wrong choice.

Without Timer, a single game might take the whole day. the game will drain you grin

A whole day? Game below started in August.

My favourite chess piece is d Knight.

It is a formidable attacker and a dependable defender.

This guy can render a quen useless, make a Rook look stupid and a Bishop docile, check a King effortlessly and prevent a pawn from becoming a King.depending on the dexterity of the player.

It's strength is best appreciated in the middle of the board locking 8 tiles simultaneously.

Design and class matters. There is this aura that takes over you when you are seating on the table of men with a well designated chess board that cost as high as 100k.

I must say, nothing of the sort overcame me when I sat at a board that cost much more. I just played my game and won and awed at the board after or the awe would have lost me the game. I do understand people do differ though.
