Regardless the lady's offense, the military man is not justified at all for laying hands on her! I'm not justifying the lady's action but how many of us get punished when we do things in the secret or even openly? This mentality has to be done away with.

How God operates is different. And how he chooses to punish each country is different too.. Don't expect a monotonous punishment for all.. Everyone will be punished uniquely and at the appropriate time.

When God Almighty punished Israel for their sins - sins committed by some Israelites - there were many nations living in worse sins, at the time, that were not punished alongside the Israelites. However, it doesn't mean God wasn't angry with them.. Just that their time of reckoning wasn't ripe.. At some point, God even commissioned some of those sinful/pagan nations to punish the Israelites - who were more righteous than they - for the sins committed by some/most of them.. Does that mean God was happy with those sinful/pagan Nations? No.. His ways are different..

Same thing is happening to Nigeria.

Just say you don't believe in God and move on..

Honestly, I couldn't have said it any better. That's a toxic and dangerous mentality that shouldn't be proliferated. No nation can move forward with these kind of ignorant hypocrites constituting the majority.

Such a negative post. Some people would prefer we leave Boko Haram, poor governance, hunger, human rights abuse, poverty to start attacking innocent people for their choice of dressing that doesn't hurt anyone.

That soldier would be tried and dismissed in a sane country. This sort of insanity is why the majority of enlightened individuals who have the means are leaving the country in droves.

God help our country.

People need to start catching and beating up these soldiers. It’s like they want to be humiliated and begging for it. What the woman wears is not your damn business.

There is no sharia in the SW and SW is not for one religion so respect people’s right to dress. What is the essence of this rubbish? Who is he to her? Is the job of the army now to check women’s dressing? This is violation of her rights as a human being and assault on a woman.

Only mad people attack random people on the street. Get that idiot arrested and sacked. No one should bring their personal beliefs and religion to their job. It is totally unacceptable. I also hope these are not people from the region of sharia beating our girls because this can spark issues.

This is madness.when the use or in this case the job of a man is undefined ,wrong doing is inevitable. The job of a soldier is to protect his or her citizens from invasion and attacks. I don't understand when a Nigerian army became fashion police.this man has committed a crime of assault and brutality and he should be sacked and arrested. He is a disgrace to his uniform.
