I concur. Jesus is the word of God that became flesh so relatively.. Jesus is the same thing as God.. It's just God manifesting himself in different forms.

Jesus jnr2020, I think your level of biblical competence is remarkable, I believe all you said, for it is not only detailed but as well eye-opening. Thanks alot.. the Jehovah witnesses are misguided in their notions, and the Muslims I believe got it all wrong from their foundational principle.
Jesus is God, and God is Jesus. I believe, I love God ... Amen.

You are confused .

The Bible says in :

Genesis 1:26 KJV
And God said, Let US make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

It is clear from the above scripture that someone was with God when He was about to create Adam and the instruction was simple LET US CREATE .

Whoever that person was , can not be anything but a CREATOR like God the speaker .

Jesus was able to create a new hand , eyes and give life to the dead. Who could give life other than God ?

If it were the angels that God was speaking to , the they would have been referred to as our Gods . It would then not be a sin to worship them , since they are our Creators . Fortunately they are not. That is why it is a sin to worship angels .

Who builds a house? The laborers or the contractor directing them. The Bible is clear in the new testament, I think Corinthians that God created all things but through Jesus. God created Jesus directed, however he used him to create all other things. Proverbs 8 made us understand better that Jesus was a chief worker besides God. God it's obvious is the grand creator. Jesus made it clear every where that he is less than God, hence not a part of an triune God.
That's what the Bible expressly thought

Where is your biblical proof for this: "Let us make man" is a direct speech to all sons (angels) of God"
You urself are little trinity because you have body, soul, and spirit. Except you don't believe ure also 3-in-1 that you won't believe in trinity

You are TRULY CONFUSED.

Jesus is not equal to His Father , but he is God Almighty and he is our Creator .

Notwithstanding all the amazing things I have witnessed in this world, it is truly astonishing how anyone could follow an accusation that someone else is confused with such a confused statement.

Jesus is not equal to the father, but is still the Almighty?
You truly have to adore the religious.

Let me quote Jesus for you:: Jesus said I and my Father are one!!! So stfu and quit quoting what you don't know... Muslim are having problem with Jesus statement of him and the father are one, and that is where they will all get Visa and passport to Hellfire....

John 1:1-3 (KJV)

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

That meeting in the beginning was a meeting of the highest order of heaven. It involved the Three in one Person.

The Father, the Word (which later became flesh in Jesus) and the Spirit.

The Word and Spirit belongs to the Father and They were both instrumental in the Work He did in the beginning. The Word came out of His Mouth, and the Spirit performed the Word.

So when God said let Us make man in our Own image, the "Us" referred to Word and the Spirit which He used to make the things He made in the beginning.

He also used "let Us" in the Instance of the tower of babel, where the one language of the world was divided. It involved the same Word and the Spirit which He used to make things in the beginning, hence after the same Word was made flesh, and was multiplied after His death, and the Spirit of God performed the Word that had multiplied, they were able to speak in the one language that was divided because of the tower of Babel when God used the term, "let Us" as He did in the beginning.

God doesn't consult with the angels concerning any plans He has, He just makes decisions and gives them instructions to carry out. The angels weren't involved in the making of things in the beginning so God couldn't have been talking to them but those involved which was His Word and His Spirit.

God bless.

OP, this is the answer yhu seek. Run away from anything contrary to this.

This is very sound, please read and digest it.

God bless yhu brother for this explanation.

I ask this question, because of the teachings of certain sects and religious groups, such as Islam who claims Christ was just a prophet, the Jehovah witness who claim Christ is angel michael, and some other groups who try to discredit and deny the divinity and preexistence of Christ.

I presume God's statement (come lets make man in our own image) in the book of "Genesis" was directed to Christ and possibly the holy spirit which is a proof for the doctrine of trinity...

Anyway if there's a contrary probative opinion with cogent evidences, am ready to learn and be corrected.

It can only mean that God is a plural being... And also provides some basis for the concept of God as a Trinity.

God and the returns Christ is now physical in this world and God has established his eternal kingdom physically here on earth. Look for this glorious righteous kingdom because your salvation hangs upon your zeal to look for God's new kingdom and that is where you see the return Christmas with a new name.

Where did a third personality fly in in that John you quoted. God created language and he is not an author of confusion. A good Bible translation or better the original language of the Bible will show you that that John was referring to two distinct people; the God and a god. Jesus is a lesser god to Jehovah God.
In the Bible god means people that have Devine nature/of spirit substance or as it related to the Pharisees (because they were like with even moses referred to as a God too, it can mean people with spiritual influence). Angels were called god's, Satan was called god, Jesus was called a mighty god however there is only one ALMIGHTY GOD, Jehovah the father and creator of Jesus Christ

My Bible rightly emphasized that Jesus Christ is GOD.
Just that Jesus Christ is embodiment of humility while physically present on it.

The original text reads 'Elohim' not 'God'

The Elohim are the manifestation of God in this dimension of reality. They created man.

So, God was talking to His Son, Jesus Christ.

Colossians 1:16 "For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:1:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.1:19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;
The concluding words clarified the whole thing; FOR IT PLEASED THE FATHER.
The father made him and used him to create all things. Another part of the Bible said all things are placed under him, however that same part quickly went further to clarify that if all things were 'placed' under him, those things doesn't include the person placing it under him. That person is God the Father, Jehovah. That part of the Bible then ends like ; "so that God can be all in all". The absolute. The finality!

Why is it that only Christian understand this passage differently . Every other culture or tradition on earth has the original idea..

Man is a composite creation made up of spirit of God + dust of the earth..

If you continue reading you will see where it says God formed man from the dust of the earth and breathed in to his nostrils and man became a living soul..all the creation myth in Nigeria says the same thing. Obatala made human from mud of the earth and called olodumare to animate them. Same with the Igbo creation . the Gods Igwe and Ala....

God was talking to the earth. Or mother nature..

Not any fictitious jesus..

its just self deception, nobody is called by his mother's name , men especially are always identified by their father's name.
i.e abraham the son of bla bla, Jacob the son of isaac, isacc the son of abraham etc
so i find it funny when the koran refers to jesus as the son of mary
after calling Him the spirit of God and admitting that he had no earthly father!
in fact there are hidden records of jesus as a young boy and teenager and it was said he was a bit of a truant.
there was when he created a bird out of clay
there was also when he pushed a friend from the top of a tall building to his death
and he came down to resurrect said friend.
