Is Fidson at N4.5 a good buy after the dip?

Please is there any hope for ETI before the year runs out? It seems like the Q3 result will send it really low.

Its still closed N4:88. Wait till when FY financial is about to be released. Any upward movement now will not be sustainable. Same with gsk, m&b and neimeth.

Leggitsam:

There is no way to avoid government hammer.
Except you don't invest in Nigeria.
Already, the govt has linked all registered BVN, with Tax Identification Number (TIN).
The painful thing is that the tax paying people in Nigeria are not benefiting from the proceeds.
No way out.
The government is hell bent on spending the unclaimed dividends for funding 2021 budget. This is an antithesis, coz government had already collected witholding taxes on same assets.
Nigerians told the government to diversify the economy, this is Buhari way of economic diversification.
VATs increase
Witholding dividends increase
Now CGT introduction is knocking.
Let's see how the tax profiling will look.
If it excludes people earning less than N25, 000,000/year, then the government might have an easy ride, but the way this government is broke, they might want to include people earning N5, 000,000/annum and above.
The worst scenario, the government will tax you CGT, if you earn more than N3, 000,000/year.

CGT is designed to tax equity investors all over the world. It might even include foreign assets and equities, Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrency.
Let's expect the worst scenario and hope for the best.

It's a very terrible thing
The corner we are now boxed in undecided

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by OBAGADAFFI: 5:08pm On Dec 07, 2020
Leggitsam:

Buhari is targeting capital gain tax. CGT.
This is different from Witholding tax on your dividends.
The first is profiling of investors.(done with KYC update of investors)
The 2nd phase is knowing how much you are gaining by investing or trading on NSE?
The third is grouping Nigerians into tax brackets. Under dz phase, the poor earners will be excluded. The money from the rich will be transferred to fund the poor. The praise singers of Buhari will be the utmost beneficiaries of the Scheme, coz the money will be looted before implementation. The government might lunch a bound to fail social security service.
The fourth agenda is implementation of this brutal anti-investors policy.
Buhari has sold Nigeria.

Its better to chop and clean mouth on NSE.

When you see a profit on your Portfolio, take it without looking back.

What's happening in UBA? Close to N1 billion already traded in just 5 minutes?
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Curry30: 10:09am On Dec 08, 2020
To all our experienced traders here...is UBA a good buy at the current price of 8.25?

Is there any projected growth in the mid term like say 6months - 1 year??

Thanks for your replies.

For those asking what to buy, keep eye on UBA, Access and FBNH price movement and watch out for pullback in these stocks, that's if there'll be any major one self.
The type of crossings ongoing in these stocks are just too massive!!

For now, market is trading sideways. Thanks obagadaffi. smiley

Like it did between June - August thereabouts
UBA, Access & FBH were at 6.10, 6.30 and 5.00 for a long while.
Medium term accumulators then are still holding.

Hello Mcy. If I may pick your thoughts for a moment please. For someone that intends to hold for quite sometime will it be wise to buy at the moment? Especially concerning UBA??

Yes. You can be buying in tranches while keeping eye on the price movement too.
You can pick some now at around 8.10-8.25.

Remember this is strictly my opinion and unforseen circumstance(s) are not taking into consideration. DD also applies.
