Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f): 11:56am On Dec 10, 2020
Red in the banking stocks especially.....
One thing I'll say to newbies especially is that you should not panic and sell at loss........
In as much as you don't sell, you don't lose, the loss you may be seeing in your portfolio is paper loss, it doesn't become real loss unless you sell.
If you have more funds, don't catch falling knife but wait for bottom prices to buy and average down your cost price.
No one can accurately time Mr. Market......
..so.some level of emotional balance is required here.
My one cent opinion. tongue

The bears will devour the market next week. The economy is in scary shape with pervasive insecurity and the near collapse of both the fiscal and monetary policies. Unarguably, the country appears to be leaderless and directionless! Nothing to cheer about.

It's not as bad as u paint it. This will only last for 4 trading days. Count. Afterwards, u will regret if u didn't enter the market.

What about the part that says "good luck" and "it may pay off"?
Don't you know one just have to maintain balance and be careful when posting on this forum if someone doesn't want to "incur the attack of some".
Not even for stocks like Japaul, Cocoa and the likes, that dey don't want to hear about. grin

Lol. Bla bla bla. As if all these things were not already happening when the Bull came last month. Newbies, don't fret. Don't allow anyone make you panic to sell your shares. If you have fundamentally-sound stocks, hold on to them. I usually prefer good dividend stocks like GTBank, Zenith and Elumelu's companies (except Transcorp) because they usually give dividend-yield of 10% and above, steady. Again, don't allow the evil people here to make you panic. Me, I'm still heavy in Zenith because when that sweet N2.50+ dividend hits in March, it will be sweet grin

Do nothing for now.

If you have extra funds, plan to buy more at a good entry price to reduce your average buy.

Oga, that post was made on Nov 16.
You could have done well to tell us how many weeks we are now..........or better still when to when.
Just saying....... tongue

Madam, Please don't get me wrong and I mean no harm. I was just assessing the statement to see how the market has performed on average since agba posted that statement and I discovered that it's been bearish a kind of. This does not mean that the market will not move or will remain bearish. Infact, it could even be fully bullish afterwards.

Also, I have discovered that most statement he make in November on the future of the market in Nov/Dec and Jan are somehow true.

Many thanks Madam

Guinness and ETI are showing great resistance during these interesting times. This indeed is a rare opportunity to scoop both. Guinness, in particular, has exceptional prospects that will push it back to its previous highs.

Bros don't get me wrong too.
Just wanted us to be more guided here so we can at least have the timing idea.

Agba is very good when it gets to predictions but I always have issues with his predictions, he'll just state it in one simple technical sentence and throw people into confusion (maybe na only me sha). grin

For instance, before the arrival of the Sept/Oct bull he made one 4 or 5 letter words prediction, I didn't understand until market started going up........I actually misinterpreted it but just kept silent cos of what I saw and observed too.......which was incoming of funds and possible price appreciation then.

So........that's it sha. grin
