Take her back if you really love her and if she is sincerely remorseful for what she did, not because of the money you spent marrying her.

i came back from work on Friday to discover that my wife has ran away with our son and some properties in the house, my neighbor said she is a bad woman that I should let her go, they caught her in adultery and she ran away because of shame.

for the first time in my life I discovered that I have not played my role as a husband. I was just focused on bringing back money home for the family and forgot the sexual responsibility, I agree I am at fault too. but if I calculate all the bride price I spent and wedding cost, I feel like going to bring her back. if not for her sake but for the baby, please advice is needed now

she is an igala while I am igbo,

go and look for your wife and work on your marriage. Pray for her. You allowed a strange man into your marriage.

yes o. We have strict marriage laws.
Any child out of wedlock belongs to the woman's family. Even if the man then marries the woman, the one born out of wedlock will still remain with the woman's family.
If you chase ur wife and dont go and collect the bride price back, any child she gives birth to while away belongs to u.
Any child ur wife bears when legally married, wheather with other men or not belongs to you.
We dont use DNA to determine anything in my place.

I'm not married yet so forgive my advice to a married man.

Forbearance is one of the most important virtue in marriage because it shows your level of love and understanding. Check 1Cor 13: 4-8
As Christians, we ought to possess this virtue before thinking about marriage because the Bible doesn't support divorce.

I will advise that you forgive your wife, express how you feel to her and pray to The Holy Spirit to help and comfort you to forgive your wife totally.

The Bible support divorce on the basis of adultery. Why are you saying the Bible does not support divorce?

Yea right. Knowing the paternity of the son is cool.

Am not supporting a married woman who cheats because it's only shameless and irresponsible women that does that. But I came to think about it, a lot of useless and stupid men sleeping around anything in skirt are now plenty, but then their wives keeps forgiving them in the name of not leaving their home for another woman. Why is it like that? I think every body should be responsible.

It is cultural.

Women are regarded as having more self control than men.

So, when a man cheats, it is almost like society expects it. Men are regarded as very weak in that aspect.

But when a woman cheats, society is hardwired to find it difficult to forgive because she has broken a standard set for women.

nothing destroys a man’s hustle faster than a cheating wife.nothing kills a man faster than a cheating wife. It’s has tremendous spiritual consequences. I don’t want to talk about STI and paternity fraud. I beg you ,run for your life.

I can not give any advice for now until you I am able to ascertain the fact and I think you should do that too before making any decision.

It was your neighbor that told you she left because she cheated you were not the one that caught her.
Is it only one person that caught her cheating or was there other witnesses?
How sure are you that what he/she told you was what really happened?
Have you taken your time to get in touch with your wife and asked her the reasons she left?
Get the fact right and answer these questions then you can go back to the advises you have gotten here.

First of all, what is the need for the bolded? What was your intention for bring it up here?

Seriously, the woman is not really at fault here, rather you are majorly to blame as you abandoned your sexual responsibility and now trying to play the tribal card with your wife here.

Before you bring here back to the house, go and learn to be matured and take full responsility of your actions.

I can't imagine you are saying this. If the woman wasn't satisfied with a sexless marriage, she should have requested for a divorce rather than cheat on him. Do you know what adultery even means?

Her womb has been adulterated that's what it means, and you are here saying it's not the woman's fault. Like seriously, she chooses the path, it would be hard to trust her again.

The choice is yours to make, know that a cheating wife can infect you with STD and make you train kids that are not yours.
Please, make sure you go for DNA test for the baby to ascertain the paternity of the child.
