Yes boss, I understand. The fact is that the contest portfolio is a sum of ₦100,400 for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
Now that 2nd & 3rd are not forthcoming, we would have to reward only the first his prize: ₦50,400.

Now, I'm left with 2 options: it's either I pocket the remaining ₦50,000 prize that is meant for 2nd & 3rd since there is none OR I give it out freely but ONLY to someone who deserves it (i.e.; finding someone who is next to the winner, someone who at least made little profit on the contested capital) - choose one......... Remember, this is meant to be a gift for Xmas and not for my pocket, still choose one.

Benqozenero:

Boss, so somebody wey come second deserves 32k but the person wey fail deserves 50k?

if so, I would like to fail my contest so I can get like $10,000 instead of $x.

@mrbillionaire no vex Na joke o

It's safe to say that an average Nigerian trader can't do 30 percent ROI consistently for 3 months.

So why try?

I have a question regarding the contest though.

Don't forget to ask your question, maybe we can learn one or two things from it.....

Good I am giving the opportunity to suggest. So let me do justice to it. (Hehehehe).

Look at it this way, let the 2nd person get the 32k as the runner up. Person wey go write certification exam, if the person fail the course, them they give the person certificate of attendance na.
So let the 18k be shared equally among the other 13contestant as thanks for coming/attending/contesting.

This is Christmas abeg.

Boss ..just a suggestion o
Just like you said it's Christmas gift

Prosperotrading is in the final alone..why not award him the first place.
Billionaire second based on the criteria u mentioned above
Then reason our matter
Those of us that at least reach semifinals may get something if u don't want to give every contestant

Just suggestions sha

I go with this suggestion too.

Like i posted a picture yesterday that i tagged consistency. It is safe to conclude based on this contest that despite the fact that the possibilities in fx is unlimited, some performance can not b repeated consistently irrespective of your level of expertise.

I support this too. At least it will encourage some of us to keep up trying. It will even be our first monetary gain for some of us who are still demo trading and learning the ropes. The amount is not important. It's the the reality of the profitability of forex that comes with it.

I think there's no runner-up as only one person made it to the finals. Automatically making Mrbillionaire the 1st runner-up will be injustice to other semi-finalists.
I will suggest that the three semi finalist should trade one more week and the two with the highest balance becomes 2nd and 3rd respectively.
It's just a suggestion but I think thats the best way to resolve the issue.

Re: Forex Trade Alerts: Season 20 by Nobody: 3:21pm On Dec 12, 2020
Hi guys,

I have seen all suggestions and requests; but upon considering these, two things are paramount.

1. You must NOT have blown your contest account OR recorded a loss that ends up placing you below the contested equity; i.e.; you will not be rewarded if your equity is below the $100 contested capital, in other words, you never made a damn profit. Else, of what purpose was the contest in the first place.

2. We can only have runner-ups if and ONLY if prosperotrading meets the goal to become the first. No first, No runner up, No reward. All fates lie on him meeting the contest goal: make $15 on the current $172 in 2weeks.

First, note that this is a real business and not gambling.

Second, you mentioned that the 3 semifinalists should trade one more week and the 2 with the highest balance becomes 2nd and 3rd: This now makes me upload their results without blur, now tell me how Donvic4u (remaining equity = $1) and Surely22 (remaining equity = $6) trade with Mrbillionaire (remaining capital = $203) to surpass him. There is nothing more to trade at $1 and $6.

This is making justice right here. Have we all forgotten that all these contestants started together all at the same time?

First, to reiterate and clear the air, 1st prize is ₦50,400 and not 52k.

Second, All I see is you don't want someone next to you to receive just ₦400 less than you; I will now reward him the initial ₦32,000 as you have thought and will keep the remaining ₦18,000. Just note that never will I reward anyone who does not meet the goal and at the same time does not make a damn profit, rather blew account. So I will reward the only 1st runner up with ₦32,000 and keep the rest if that is what will make you happy, I'll do that.

Alright, I understand better now. But giving the 2nd runner-up 50,000 and giving the winner 50,400 doesn't make sense.
Alternatively, you can give the second runner-up his due prize money and split that of 3rd position between other semi-finalists, or withhold it completely.

Giving a runner-up the prize of 2nd and 3rd combined is injustice of the highest order especially on the contest winner.

It's just my opinion sha...

It's no pulling down boss. If you were in his shoes, you'll feel same. He'll be racking his brain, staying vigilant to spot out good set ups for 2 good weeks only to receive just #400 less than you that has had 2 weeks free of trading. Reason am now, it's not fair. Let's call a spade a spade.

Anyway, kudos to Boss @pipsbasketing, The competition was refreshing really. matter of fact, I'll repeat the contest on a personal level with same starting balance.

@Mrbillionaire, in a bid to let love reign which is our greatest reason for starting the contest, I would want you to see it this way:

First, you never made it to the final and would never have obtained any reward if I was to be strict with it.

Second, now see it as an opportunity to receive something (better than none), don't see it as they try to pull you down, if actually, they wanted to pull you down, they would have contested that you should get nothing since you never made the goal. So appreciate everyone that at least they are in support that you get something which you never qualified for in the first place.

Again, ₦32K is better than nothing - Let love reign
