Humber College, Public relations. Previous education was Bachelors-Mass Communication. I'm self sponsored. Got an introduction letter from my office stating study leave approval and resumption date. cheesy Had a 10-year study gap but I have been working right from leaving school so was able to justify that with all employment appointment letters. I believe I also had a very detailed letter of explanation too. For everything I stated in the LOE, I had documents as proof including picture evidence where necessary.
At the end, no application is perfect. Pray for grace! It will end in praise for you and everyone still expecting an approval.
Sorry did you use WES for your certificate translation or you used notarized results.

Hi,

Your cousin can't go for a Masters in Canada due to his 2.2 Grade, the minimum qualification for Masters in Canada is 2.2.

- His best shot is to go for a
PG. Cert in Banking & Finance Related Program
or
a PG. Cert in an Haulage related program
in Canadian Colleges.

Based on his work experience in HAULAGE
a PG. Cert in SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT seems perfect for him

- Also there is no scholarship for PG. Cert programs.

- That 7k as tuition for skooling in Canada is very low, as an International Student, you pay more, you should be looking at 14k upward as tuition fee for International Students, it can also be more than that depending on the skool & PG. cert program your cousin wanna go for, in a NUTSHELL, Financial Readiness is very important

- After your cousin apply to a college & gain the admission & has gotten his Letter of Acceptance(LOA) for a PG.Cert program, then the content in the link below is his plug

For further questions, ask & members in house gonna respond
honestly I don't know why you guys keep saying when someone has 2.2 he can't get admission for master's. I know people who had 2.2 and with there experience and sop they got admission, rather you can say let him apply for both pgd and masters in different schools and see the outcome

Yes u are right, but they are like 2-3 out of 20 that get such admission. Interestingly the 2.1 (B) - 70% is clearly stated in the Admission requirements of most Masters program in Canada

Hey guys. So I got that NSE letter and I was able to get a 7.5 overall in IELTS after 4 days of preparation lol. The problem now is that I haven't gotten the Test Results Form(certificate). Do I go to the place I wrote it to request for it, or I wait for the courier to bring it? cuz I need to submit the results ASAP. Thanks.

If its an UPFRONT Medicals u wanna do,

Its either you do it at

IOM (Lagos or Abuja) - #46,500

Or

Q-life - (Lagos Only) - #35,000

For IOM,
this is your plug
How to book for Medicals at IOM, Ikeja, Lagos or Abuja

For Q-life,

After you are through with the medicals, either of the clinics you choose to do ur Medical will give u an E-MEDICAL SHEET, its that E-MEDICAL SHEET u gonna send via WEBFORM AND MAIL to CIC NAIROBI IMMIGRATION OFFICE

The link below is ur plug for that
Sending Webform of E-Medical Sheet (Upfront Medicals) & Sending the same E-medical sheet via E-mail to Nairobi office (see template of the message body for the Webfrom & Email)

FYI: You might want to consider Q-LIFE (Lagos Only), cos recently (Late November 2020 till when this post was made) some people have some complaints about IOM

You should have done the POLICE CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE before submitting ur study vsa application, but I don't know if u still gonna be needing it.

But in case u eventually gonna be needing it,
the link below is ur plug

How are you coping with the timezone thing? It's 1:35am in Montreal and I'm awake. I slept using Nigeria time and I can't even force myself to sleep again.

Just to add to the items Rebecausoro listed, if you are destined to Montreal, please make sure you print your CAQ approval letter.

Shoutout to Obanidavid and Akannitommy cool.

I'm just 4hours, 30minutes behind Nigeria time. It's easier to deal with it. Maybe you should try staying awake (take coffee or something) till night time in Montreal.

Hello Reb,

Thank God for journey mercies.

What did you use as proof of enrollment? Will my course schedule/timetable suffice?

Nooo. Get a signed letter from your university. The letter should indicate that you are registered as a student for the term.

Congratulations!

Please how do I get a ‘Student Status letter (enrollment letter)‘?
Is this only available for students who have commenced studies? Because I’m starting in winter 2021 and I’ve already registered my courses.

Once you enroll for classes, you can get the letter.

Congrats on your successful landing.
Please did you print the ARRIVECAN reciept or you just showed it from your phone?

I didn't print it. I showed it from my phone but take care when filling it so that the correct confirmation page will come up.

Thank God for you.

Pls quickly, the SOA u are advising one should print, could it be the same you used while applying or a new one entirely?

It could be a new one. They won't scrutinize it thoroughly. They just want proof that you have it and that you have access to the money there.

Congratulations Rebecca,
Please what did you present as your POF?

Thank you.

I used my funding letter. Just a simple letter stating how much the department offered me.

I'll be going offline for a while so that I can focus on my exams. Good luck to everyone. Hopefully, I'll come back after my exams and assist those who have just started their journey by answering questions. This thread made an impact in my life and others should take advantage of the wealth of knowledge here.

Ciao guys.

Nice opinion but note this. The chances are very very slim to get a masters admission With that GPA. You might just waste that application fees.
The university wouldn’t deny. Just wait & see the outcome. “Sorry you didn’t meet our eligibility” & don’t qualify for the program.

I have filled form A with access bank for the past two week and they said CBN is not given them enough fx to to transaction with.

Hello guys

Which of the IELTS do you need to take if VO request that your visa can be processed through NSE.

I want to start preparing for the general one since it can used for PR also.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by TeeMade: 2:14am On Dec 13, 2020

If it's paper based you wrote, the result will be out 13days after you wrote the test, if it's 13days after already and you took the test with British council or MOD you can go to the British council or MOD office to pick it up go along with your international passport-Proof of identification.

Hello senior in house, can anyone expatiate more below text

Is travel consistent with local customs or practices? Has the person travelled before?
Additional information: Even if the person’s ties to the home country seem to be strong, there may be other factors in the general economic or political environment which make the long-term prospects for the person or their family unstable. Consider these factors in the assessment
