I shed my own tears when a 20 yr old felt hopeless probably because he's not making money yet.

The social pressure is just too damn high.

I recommend every learn one or two things from my profile picture.

Our young guys are seriously being misled!

As a young fellow, your only competition should be yourself.

Goodluck became a president in his 50s, Buhari became one in his 80s.

Are you trying to tell me Goodluck is more successful than Buhari? Hell no!

When I was younger, I was following one small girl whit small nyansh then. Do I regret it? Hell no!

wink Thanks

I'll add a few points based on the gospel of grace that I believe.

When young people are depending on their efforts and abilities to work, they usually end up not getting it right, feel exhausted and wonder if their years of struggle were worth it. Those who get it right (money wise) still end up not having success in other areas of their lives. That's why many of some rich people get depressed, end up using drugs or alcohol, or even kill themselves. This world isn't a race just like the Op said. If u see it as one, you'll end up frustrated and selfish and may result to crime just to get ahead.

This doesn't mean that true believers in Christ are to live a life without challenges. Most of the time, Christians experience more challenges cos the enemy wants many of them to backslide and question if God really cares for them.

Challenges are always there but I believe that God uses it as a way to shake us. Challenges make us stronger and wiser that when God gives us our breakthrough, we'll be able to handle them while leaning on God for wisdom. When we're faced with challenges, it's a way to dust off people or things that aren't meant to be in our lives. Often times, people feel sad when people leave or friends leave not knowing that they're no longer needed in your life at that point in time.

I for one, am still in my learning stage and I'm happy I'm more stronger and wiser than I was last year and years before.

And lastly, great success comes in step by step. You can't rush the process or you'll end up doing wrong things which will backfire. I believe in depending on Jesus for success, cos He took all our toiling and struggles at the cross while giving us His prosperity and riches. We just need to trust Him and let Him lead, and watch how every areas of your life are blessed.
Shalom!
