ehinmowo:Please, don't resign from that job yet. Start the business first and operate it side by side with your job for at least 2 years. If profitable, you can decide to resign. |

I'm a medical Laboratory Scientist, I studied in one of the best private schools in Nigeria, after graduation, it took me 2 years before I could do my internship as it was a guarantee before NYSC, it was in my 2 years of Idleness that I came across these books, "Change your way Change your thinking", "goals"by Brian Tracy, Rich Dad poor Dad, by Robert Kiyoserki. This books Changed my life, I got cool business Ideas from these books but was not certain on the path to follow until my service year in 2018. I was fortunate to belong to AGRO-ALLIED SAED group. A thought came to me that my family are Agrarians with vast virgin land most of which are swampy soil. Infact with the money I saved in my internship year and the knowledge I got from NYSC-SAED, I ventured into Rice farming, storage and processing as well as poultry farming, I got a financial breakthrough because of President Muhammad Buhari's policy on Agriculture. Starting a business venture is not without it's challenges but what is important is the zeal to never give up, dedication, persistency and goodwill. I hardly have time to apply for white collar job, but I told myself that if I must work for someone, it must be the federal government in a federal hospital. Until then, farming all the way..... 5 Likes |

I need advice on how to manage my workers. They steal, they lie, they waste resources. They try to manipulate the records, they take advantage of my tiredness after I close from my place of work. I never knew my staff were going to be my greatest challenge. It's so frustrating. I really need help from the more experienced business men. 4 Likes |

ehinmowo:. Hmmmm, resigning your job at this time? See I am in the same shoes with you, mine us 7:6am, I am grounded in a lot of business line, which i wont want to mention. I do these line of business along side my paid job. I had made a move severally to resign, but each time I try, I hear something tell me to give my self a target, and the target I gave my self was that I must be in my own house before I think of resigning, as luck may have it, I moved to my this year. I have almost 60% of all equipments I need to start my real business I want to start. But doing business this year been so bad. Ask those who have been in business for years they will tell you. Well you, I am not discouraging you from executing your decision but I will want to ask you this question. Before you talk of resigning have you already started the business you want to leave your job for, if YES, nothing do you. 1 Like |

ehinmowo:. Hmmmm, resigning your job at this time? See I am in the same shoes with you, mine is 7:6. Funny to say that I have done a lot of businesses even before I got my job, even as I got my job, I still do other side hustle if I say that I am grounded in a lot of business line, I am not making a mistake, . I do these line of business along side my paid job, I do them that most of my colleagues in my office bring customers to me and they also consult me, I had made a move severally to resign my job, but each time I try, I hear something telling me to still give my self a target before resigning, and the target I gave my self was that I must be in my own apartment before I think of resigning, as luck may have it, I moved to my own house this year. I have almost 60% of all equipments I need to start the original business I want to start. But doing business this year been so bad, business environment especially in Nigeria today is not friendly, ask those who have been in business for years they will tell you. Well I am not discouraging you from executing your decision but I will want to ask you this question. Before you talk of resigning have you already started the business you want to resign your job for, if YES, nothing do you. I pray that may God help you. 1 Like |
