gamegear:Stop basking in ignorance, Banks will usually not borrow you money except you use your salary account (in case of no collateral) Infact what qualifies you for loan is your salary, he probably took the loan when he's still employed and couldn't pay off before he was laid off |

thebosstrevor1:This is not a wise advise. The stop borrowing is. But the arrest sounds odd. All he needs do would be to show that he did not withdraw money from the account. Or he was actually expecting 40k from someone. Hence he used the money. Your case would crumble like a pack of cards in court. Na to dey pay 1000 per month till the money complete. |

thebosstrevor1:True talk. Loan is the last thing you should take. And if you must, take only what you know you can comfortably pay. I will not say because carbon offers me 500k I will take. . I rather collect 20k to solve urgent cashflow issues knowing within days the money will be available to refund. |

Why not ask the accountant to initiate a recall with the company's bank? They should treat it as an erroneous transfer. You can confirm same to your bank. Then, depending on how ethical the bank is, they may reverse the transaction. The issue is that the money is so small. How person go advise you to get lawyer to manage the recall now? Last last, the accountant will bear the cost |

Brosst:I will not advise you to take loan to pay the money. Print your bank statement. Go and show it to the accountant and the manager. Let them know that you don't have the cash to pay at the moment. But you will be paying XYZ amount every month till you complete the payment. Don't add more stress to your life than there is already. |

Brosst:Nairalanders the best you guys can do for this guy is to start a crowd funding for him. I am ready to head it. I would have paid off this debt for you but I am somewhere that I don't have access to much fund the little fund in my daily expenditure account is almost exhausted on xmas give aways So I am using this medium to beg 20 good spirited Nairaland members to indicate interest let's start a crowdfunding for this guy. I will bear the bulk of the funding. If we are able to raise more than the loan, we can give it to him as New Year gift or use it to assist other Nairaland people in need. Nairaland need to have a crowd funding programme to assist our suffering youths bikonu If you are interested to join the crowd funding pls quote or mention me. God bless you all as you comply. I promise all that will join that God will surprise you in 2021, take it from me. Once I have up to 10 interested members I create the crowdfunding thread asap |
