Kaduna demolishes hotel over ‘plans to hold sex party’

The Kaduna State Urban Planning and Development Authority(KASUPDA) has demolished Asher Hotel in Barnawa area of the state over allegations of immoral act.

The agency, which is in charge of the planning and development of all urban areas in Kaduna, announced this in a tweet on Thursday.

It alleged that the hotel was the proposed venue for a sex party — but a flyer attached to the tweet had no detail of the proposed location for the party.

According to the flyer, the sex party involving both outdoor and indoor activity was scheduled for December 27.

Activities lined up for the event were games, foods, grills, movies and sex.

“50 ladies ready to get down,” a caption on the flyer read.

The regular ticket for the party is billed for N2,000, VIP for N5,000 and VVIP N10,000, according to the organisers.

The state agency said the hotel violated COVID-19 guidelines. It warned that any property used for such immoral act will be demolished.

KASUPDA have demolished Asher Hotel in Barnawa Kaduna South. Asher Hotel was the proposed venue for the Kaduna Sex Party, the hotel was also caught contravening the Covid-19 guidelines of the state. KASUPDA will not hesitate to demolish properties used for such immoral act.

The Kaduna state government have demolished Asher hotel located in Barnawa, Kaduna south local government for allegedly being the venue of the aborted sex party planned by some persons here in Kaduna.
It was reported that the police have arrested the organizers of the event and upon interrogation, revealed that Asher hotel was the venue. This prompted the Kaduna state government to demolish the hotel in order to sound as a warning to others not to agree to host/promote such immoral events in the state.

Even if it was true, how can the punishment for an attempted sex party be demolition of the building?

Air Force Strikes Destroy Bandits Camp In Kaduna

The Nigerian military on Saturday said it has neutralised several armed bandits at their camp in the Kuduru Forest area of Kaduna State.

According to a statement signed by a military spokesman, John Enenche, the strikes were carried out on August 13.

The airstrikes were carried out by the Air Component of Operation Thunder Strike, a joint military operation with the mission to help rid the country’s North-West of bandits presently terrorising the region.

The destroyed bandit camp, the military said, was occupied by members of an Ansaru Terrorist Sect-linked group led by one Mallam Abba.

The country’s North-West has witnessed a recent rise in bandit-related attacks, contributing to calls for the sack of Service Chiefs.

President Muhammadu Buhari has admitted more needs to be done to protect the region.
