Laughable!

You would be correct if you said there isn't a "standard rail Guage" at Dugbe but to say there is 'no station at Dugbe' is wrong.
We’re here discussing the #BuhariTrain and it doesn’t stop anywhere near Dugbe.

I was born and grew up in the 60’s at Ekotedo Iyaolobe. Tutor me on trains at Dugbe and you’ll die laughing.

Some people are complaining about the train prices .

A lot of people are dependent on white collar jobs solely and forget that the Nigerian economy is not favourable to the Average citizen .

Everyday taxes , increase in commodity price , lack of infrastructure and enabling business environment for business and startups etc . It is almost like Nigeria Is set up to frustrate you .

You clearly missed the context.

You merely replied based on where you picked it. Peace.

No I didn’t. You just tried to interject a non starter.

We’re specifically discussing #BuhariTrain and it has no station in Dugbe.

I pass the Dugbe rail station at least once a day when I take my Dogs to the vet at Bodija from Elebu.

You’re not teaching me anything about trains, stations in Ibadan.

The train is so beautiful, I’m looking forward to entering it.
Do you know January is usually the longest month in the year? Do you know why? Because we rarely save for the month, don’t get broke in January save with iNest by FCMB. Start now: https://i-nest.fcmb.com/welcome

Well maybe safety and comfort.
In my opinion , without the government putting up better security all over the country, just a bandit attack on the train , Will discourage passengers ...there is this old Indian movie called sholay, bandits were always robbing and attacking trains.

grin pls don't carry this enter 2021 else you might end up being a stand-up comedian.

If it is because of regret it will be the two hands on the head.

But if it is because of surprise and enjoyment it is only one hand. grin like the man is doing.

The only way u think Nigeria can ever work is for the govt to start giving u money with no reason

It's not the train's fault. It's not easy being a Nigerian.

The brain activities of an average Nigerian can kill any other human being if subjected to thesame brain clock-speed.
I agree with you sir.

You guys actually feel is wise for a Nigerian to pay N2,500 from IB to Lagos when he can still get a bus going to Lagos for N1,000 or less.
Seriously the economic team of Buhari aren't smart

Yeah...you are very correct.

I do hope they will speed up the activation of the other stations. The Dugbe station is very strategic for Ibadan residents.
Does it pass through Dugbe? I wonder why it wasn't situated there in the 1st place. Dugbe ma the main train station for Ibadan. Well they must have their reasons sha undecided

If you ply the train you will never enter any local vehicle again, the inside is just exactly like a plane, very comfortable with air-conditioning, and restaurants
Restaurant again? Shey chill here dey the place? I'm already considering going for a ride in it on Saturday sef undecided

Most new train tracks mean that trains travel at below their optimal speed to allow tracks settle. Eventually you will get 150- 180 kmh.

There are many people who will take trains over their personal cars. I certainly would.
You sure sey train go fit drive at that neck breaking speed for ds our naija? Even the average Nigerian no go join you siddon inside for fear. I know how scared peeps are even in planes...

Sagay212:
Well some people wouldn't mind paying extra for comfort. Not everyone wants to board a bus with troublesome and talkative people. Not everyone want to sit beside one elephant sized human or some dirty, stinky human. Not everyone can stand some of the annoying bus drivers who just like to look for trouble.

When you board a train, it's mind your business and you enjoy the AC and the tranquility.
I like the fact that it is expensive so that it will at least discourage some dirty peoole from boarding it so it can at least last for years.
Thoughtful.

THE TRAINS IN CHINA OPERATE AT OVER 250KMH SO WHY ARE THIS ONES BELOW 200 EVEN AT THEIR EVENTUAL OPTIMAL SPEED?
With all the stray animals and open defecation in the Bush, I doubt if this train would ever run faster than 100km/hr. Nigerians aren't ready for that. I even doubt our airplanes run at maximum speed sef... undecided

Unforunate that the train dosent take more than 2 trips per day. Also the first train should be leaving much earlier to commuters who have to work in lagos can get there and back
So you can blow 2k5 a day for road transportation? I tap my left blockus for you oh...
