budaatum:I don't know why People act surprised People hardly ever get Knighted? Giving Knighthoods out willy nilly cheapens it so it sounds about right that only the best of the best in their chosen field gets rewarded. Heck Rugby and Cricket with the 2nd and 3rd largest sports following in the UK are not awash with Dames and Sirs either. Even amongst Olympians, they had to be the best in their Chosen discipline for years to come anywhere close to being given a Knighthood and rightly so. Ferrari courted controversy in 2019 when rivals raised questions about the Scuderia’s much-improved power unit. Blatantly accused of “cheating” by Red Bull’s Max Verstappen, the FIA launched an investigation that led to Technical Directives being issued regarding fuel flow and oil burning. Ferrari’s engine lost power and the Scuderia – as well as its customer teams – suffered as a result. Months later, prior to the start of the 2020 season, after what the FIA called a “thorough technical investigation”, motorsport’s governing body reached a secret agreement with Ferrari. As to be expected, Ferrari’s rivals were not happy and to this day want details of the settlement to be revealed. One part of that may have just been leaked by former driver turned steward Salo. Speaking to Finnish rally driver Sohlberg during a Twitch stream interview, the question of what went wrong for Ferrari and its customer teams came up. Last year, all three Ferrari-powered teams struggled to match their 2019 pace, losing the most lap time of all the teams on the grid. Redbull and Mclaren just dey put dust for everybody eye. Lol. The car (especially Redbull) is so smooth on the corners, effortlessly glides through. Gonna be a fun season unless Mercedes can up their game. The rear of the car no just balance at all. |

FBS:Of course he had a choice, and he chose to give it up. Can you imagine a Prost or a Senna or Schumacher giving it up? Season will end and they'd still be arguing it in court, lol, and even Hamilton would have said fuq off, which is likely why he's a 7 times World Champion. The move - an order from race control - cost the Red Bull driver the victory. Verstappen never quite got close enough again to challenge Hamilton. |

Wow. Some hard ball strategy move by Mercedes but Sir LH still had a lot to do. Red Bull thought he could only catch Max on the last lap but he did it with 6 laps to go, reducing some ridiculous 22 secs gap. Awesome stuff. 1 Like 1 Share |

Poor Leclerc got Monaco Pole yesterday but will start in pit after affair with the wall. Update Leclerc will not start at all! Final Result As is usual for Monaco, it was so exciting one eye slept right through after Bottas' wheelnut debacle, though I did hear the Ham whinning when things are not going his way. Good to wake up to Adrian Newey on the podium at the end.

Pretty mediocre result today but these things happen after all that's what F1 is all about. Got to take the Bad times alongside the good ones. As Sir Lewis himself said, things could have been much worse. With all that said, we meuveeeeeee! |
