Schumacher was not the sole reason Ferrari conquered. He was ruthless and very capable when given a good car. You had Brawn, Todt Bryne were the reasons why the they dominated. A simple tyre person has lost good drivers many races and good drivers have lost many too in mediocre teams, as we've seen with the likes of Alonso, Raikkonnen, Vettel, and even Schumacher.
