does their venom work on other non venomous snakes like anaconda and python
I don’t know for anacondas(assuming a cobra or mamba can even pierce it’s thick hide). But yes I have seen a king cobra’s venom work on a python of equal size, and it even devoured the python. The king cobra is known as the snake eater. It’s main diet is other snakes.

That's a lie. Lions are moslty pack hunters. It will take up to three of four mature lioness. Maybe two male lion to take down a fully grown male buffalo.

Those things are built like tanks..unless you just being baise in your accesment.

Funny guy.

You think it is only about size.

Stealth, instinct, hunting prowess etc put lion on top of food chain in the forest.

A full blown malelion will take OT down.

One-on-one battles between the water buffalo and lion don't end well for the lion.

Those beasts (buffaloes) have hides over 4 inches thick!

Lion is many things and I respect lion.but they are not the fastest not the strongest niether are they the stealthiest of the big cats. I repeat thier success in part is mainly due to the fact they are pack hunters. Am not taking their abilities away.

Am saying when it comes to stealth a leopard or tiger posses better stealth than a lion.speed goes to cheetah..bite force goes to heynas. Even strength is debatable between a lion and tiger.

Lion success in terms of kill rate will be in the toilets. If not for their abilities to hunt in groups.

Black mambas will kill in 30 minutes that's if you are lucky it strikes you once grin grin grin grin. The king cobra however won't charge at you if you don't come at it or you are not within striking range, but the mamba doesn't need that, wether you are in striking range or not it's coming at ya and it's gonna charge if you do or not. So I'll choose king cobra as long as I maintain a distance I'm safe.
A black mamba will also run away if you come at it. What's your point?

King cobra is much more venomous but not deadlier. How deadly they are is not measured by the potency of their venoms but by how much humans have been attacked by them. Somewhere in India they live with king cobras why they sell anti venoms for them so they display the effectiveness of the drugs by rearing kingcobras.
Google is your friend, and I have successfully disputed the argument that a black mamba is the most deadly based on aggression. If it's based on how many people killed. The King Cobra trumps the black mamba.
Black mambas are also reared like King Cobras and harvested for their venom. No big deal.
Back to topic, the black mamba is not the deadliest snake in the world. Whether you are basing deadliness on potency of venom or aggression. The black mamba does come any where close. In terms of venom potency, it is the inland Taipan. In terms of aggression (which I disagree is a measure of deadliness) the Saw scaled Viper is numero uno

Don't mind the OP. Some are here defending him that the term venomous is different from the term deadly. If a snake's venom does not kill, will you call that snake deadly?

It is, the deadliest snake on the planet, don't mind the people telling you it's the most venomous, but not the most dangerous. Makes no sense undecided

You are right. Pound for pound, ounce for ounce, drop for drop, its not the deadliest. I think the water snakes ( can't remember their names now) are the most venomous.
But the aggressiveness, the penchant for biting a victim repeatedly makes it a formidable foe.
The good thing is that they are not found in Nigeria

That my friend is faulty comparison. First of, it is not true that the King Cobra is allowed to roam freely in compounds in India, unless you are dealing with rearers and snake charmers. Secondly Indians are known to deify snakes, and are quite comfortable with them, hence the reaction of an Indian to snakes may be quite different from other people. Thirdly, the black mamba is only found in Africa. I am very certain that if the Black Mamba was native to India, they would have curbed it's aggression. FYI some people own black mambas as pets, even though it's highly advised against.
