If cornered it won't run
It also won't attack if unprovoked. 100% of the time, it runs away from humans. It is even the King Cobra that tends to stare people down.

Go to google & type which snake can outrun a man...to cure yur ignorance.

They can't outrun a running man. They can outrun a jogging man but a running man? Nope, no way. It's all urban myths, same as them being faster than a horse or chasing after people.

Lion is many things and I respect lion.but they are not the fastest not the strongest niether are they the stealthiest of the big cats. I repeat thier success in part is mainly due to the fact they are pack hunters. Am not taking their abilities away.

Am saying when it comes to stealth a leopard or tiger posses better stealth than a lion.speed goes to cheetah..bite force goes to heynas. Even strength is debatable between a lion and tiger.

Lion success in terms of kill rate will be in the toilets. If not for their abilities to hunt in groups.

Bite force goes to the jaguar not spotted hyena.

You are right. Pound for pound, ounce for ounce, drop for drop, its not the deadliest. I think the water snakes ( can't remember their names now) are the most venomous.
But the aggressiveness, the penchant for biting a victim repeatedly makes it a formidable foe.
The good thing is that they are not found in Nigeria

You gotcha brother.

Black mambas don't shy away from people. Several cases in South Africa where they enter homes. King cobras stay clear of humans.

That my friend is faulty comparison. First of, it is not true that the King Cobra is allowed to roam freely in compounds in India, unless you are dealing with rearers and snake charmers. Secondly Indians are known to deify snakes, and are quite comfortable with them, hence the reaction of an Indian to snakes may be quite different from other people. Thirdly, the black mamba is only found in Africa. I am very certain that if the Black Mamba was native to India, they would have curbed it's aggression. FYI some people own black mambas as pets, even though it's highly advised against.

They are allowed to roam freely in the compound. That's how the people selling the anti venoms showcase the potency of their anti venoms. You can watch it on YouTube. You'll never see anyone for any reason allowing a black mamba roam freely. It's faster and more deadly than the king cobra

Stop the lies and quit using one anecdote like it's a norm. Who are these people? Do black mambas live in India? And you speak as if King Cobras live in Indian households like dogs. Soon you will tell us they put them on chains and walk them like dogs. My friend accept your error and stop your high falutin argument. Google 10 ten deadliest snakes in the world and black mamba is not number one. The title of the thread should be " Deadliest snake in Africa"
End of argument.

Opposite. Black mambas are extremely shy of humans and avoid people at all cost. King Cobras on the other hand are less shy of people because they have learnt to live among humans due to habitat destruction. That is why they kill more people than black mambas. Go do your research.

It's you who needs to research. King cobra is more shy of human than the black mamba.
Except y'all know more than Wikipedia. On Wikipedia there are only 2 snakes in the extremely dangerous category (black mamba and Taipan)
Followed by the next category highly dangerous of which the king cobra falls. Except you'll tell me highly is senior to extremely?
