A40:If Harden is going, go now. Let's get pieces in place, maybe take a hit this year and get better next year. I am very high on Silas, but the Harden situation probably hurts more than helps. |

Man, it's gon be a long season for the Warriors. When they lose they lose heavily, when they win they win narrowly. Maybe it's their defence they need to even worry about. You can't keep shipping these large numbers on a nightly basis. |

mattfeuter:I don't understand this. As SC scored more and had more assists than Kawhi in 2019 should Fred Van Vleet have been given FMVP trophy or scoring the most points in a series that someone loses makes them worthy of the FMVP trophy? |

A40:A player that denied being hit by Draymond Green but then begged the NBA to suspend him "because I am a father of 3 kids" yet the NBA that had given DG a tech on the day decided to revisit the call to change it to a flagrant foul after the game so they could suspend DG. But his people will be here bronsexualin. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Android17: 7:26am On Jan 02, 2021 |
mattfeuter:A great player like Lebron having all the possession was always going to get the most points and assists. Somehow nobody wants Harden to win regular season MVPs because the way he plays allows him to get such stats but the argument is different when Lebron is involved, why? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Android17: 7:28am On Jan 02, 2021 |
birdman:I lifted the roster from Basketball reference as is. You can look it up. I respect you though. You had no argument to make so you hid behind Klay Thompson who was never rated better than Blake Griffin (the next best player on Chris Paul's roster). |
| Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 10:53am On Jan 02, 2021 |
Android17:Blake was always injured. Every playoffs. In what world are you rating mr glass over klay. Lmao |
| Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 10:54am On Jan 02, 2021 |
Android17:Cheap of you to want to put this on Draymond on his first game back. |

Boy o boy. You only talk about GSW when they lose. It's been a while since Lebron last lost a final to them. Forgive GSW for handing your man multiple final losses ok. Forgive them. . Get over it bro. ![]() steady986: |

birdman:Looking at the West the only roster I can say is categorically better are the Lakers. Personally I say work with this squad for this season. Who knows how many years you can squeeze out of Wall and Cousins, not maximizing it is pointless as Harden will still command value next year same way AD did. Let's wait till trade deadline sha. The Nets might be reconsidering because this their so-called depth is looking hella suspect. Aside them and the Sixers I don't know who else Houston can deal with |

Roland17:Brady again? ......Fields was a guaranteed number 2 in the Mock draft however Analysts will now be asking if He should go Number 1 overall. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 6:42pm On Jan 02, 2021 |
chic2pimp:Happy new year boss. Hope you had a great time, wishing you all the best this year. As for Brady, na who tap dance reach am? He almost needs a tap dance shoe whenever he plays and struggles. Fields biggest question has always been throwing deep threat and he consciously worked to show his critics otherwise. He made 2 deep throws for 2 TDs. As for Lawrence, I hope the Jags invest in their OLine else Lawrence go suffer. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by chic2pimp(m): 7:41pm On Jan 02, 2021 |
Roland17:My ....Happy New year to you too Big Man. I sure did. Hope you did too? I pray for More blessings and wisdom on your part so that you'd continue to bamboozle us with your encyclopedic knowledge. Loooool smh ....Nah A40 fit you for Brady matter.Bro I did not know His arm was that strong. Pure Arm strength on display yesterday. Also I don't know what Dabo was thinking giving Ohio extra ammo going into the game. Hopefully He has learnt His lessons. Trevor did have a mediocre game last night even though He threw for 400 yards but my gawd was that O line awful or what? Dude literally had no time to process His reads before they pounced. He'd need a better OLine in the pros if we don't want Him going the Andrew Luck way. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Android17: 12:13am On Jan 03, 2021 |
steady986:Which means shouting is not what wins you games that is my point. Yesterday, the other GSW players had wide open threes that they missed and Portland could not miss. It is not surprising that the score difference was reflective of the three points shooting as well. I don't think any Warriors supporter will be expecting a ring this year based on the roster but like I earlier mentioned, the league will ebb, flow and feel like a roller coaster for many teams if not all. Dirk Nowtizki is another Curry-style leader who lets his game do the leading. I just wanted to add that. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Android17: 12:17am On Jan 03, 2021 |
birdman:I am not saying Blake is better than Klay Thompson. I am saying when that roster for the Clippers was being set up it was with the mentality that Blake would be better. Blake was supposed to be better than Curry if you recall. The bottomline being that that Clippers "Lob City" team was built to be better than the Warriors in 2014. You are a basketball head on here so you will remember that the warriors were projected to be the 5-6th seed that year and many pundits predicted Lebron going back to Cleveland will win it all. So please, Curry does have his very palpable weaknesses some of which I have agreed with you, but making others better is not one of them. Let us give him his dues. |

Android17:Right there is the talking point. - obviously they both have different styles of play. - Yes, harden shines in the regular season but goes completely cold in the playoffs. Remember when the Rockets missed 27 straight 3-pointers en route to finishing 7 for 44 from deep in 2018( that was the year he won the NBA MVP by the way) Game 7 loss to the Warriors? Harden was 2 for 13 from three in that game. - Game 6 of the 2017 NBA playoffs, the rockets were at home in an elimination game against a Kawhi less Spurs, Harden scored a total of 10 points on 2-of-11 shooting with 6 turnovers and 6 fouls ( will that work? ), which ultimately ended their season. - Now when it comes to Lebron, he plays better in the playoffs. Yes , he has had his lows in the playoffs as well but at least he’ll get you to the final. 8 straight finals appearances tells a lot. This is why the argument will always be “different”. |

SmooshCHN:I had to revisit this comment ![]() KD has always been lethal. This is why he got so much heat for joining a 73-9 warriors team. (Like bros, you’re too good already ) I’m scrambling hard to find his weakness. Is it 3 point shooting ? Free throws( no balls rolling around the net or the board, straight swishes : ) Mid range ? Defense? He can do it all. |

chic2pimp:Thank you Boss, I am grateful for our friendship on this forum. New Year celebrations was quiet from my end, I go gym and open gifts but nothing serious. Coro dey disturb too much. @A40 does not respect the GOAT and he knows I have a serious problem with that, so I lay into another GOAT who is renowned for the art of tap dancing. Ohio State is a famous/ respectable football program and what Dabo said was disrespectful especially to the BIG 10 and I am happy they laid into him with that smacking. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 1:17am On Jan 04, 2021 |
Roland17:I see Aaron Fraudgers feasting on another mediocre QB and NFC North team. As usual. Anyway you lot have home field advantage in an average NFC field at best. Your guy has no excuse to not get to another Superbowl. 1 Superbowl in 13 years as a starter is quite shameful |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 1:22am On Jan 04, 2021 |
Android17:Truth is Steph, Klay and Draymond overachieved while the likes of Blake and the Clippers criminally underachieved. They are the original 3-1 chokers, they deposed the Spurs and I was so sure they would reach the Finals after leaving Houston for dead and dumping the Warriors out the previous year |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 1:28am On Jan 04, 2021 |
chic2pimp:I've learned not to put too much stock to performances in college football settings and draft hype. The gulf in class between college and the pros is huge and neither Fields or Lawrence are guaranteed to be a hit. We are seeing it with Tua right now |
| Re: The NBA Begins by chic2pimp(m): 1:42am On Jan 04, 2021 |
Roland17:I am even more grateful for our friendship. You even got me moderately interested in baseball ⚾️. Anyone who knows me knows that's a Huge deal as my interest does not go past the Big name players like Mike Trout. I don't think I have watched more than 30 minutes of Baseball since Ken Griffey Jr's last years a decade ago. New Years was also a quiet one much like yours. We thank God for good health sha. Looool....I'll leave you and A40 to your arguments . All I'd add is that He deserves much better than what Green Bay's front office has given Him over the years. Absolutely disrespectful. Happy He got His just desserts. BTW are you hearing what I am hearing? Some Analysts have Zach Wilson above Fields in their Mock drafts evaluations. How is that even possible? One is playing against no name competitions whilst the other is doing His thing against the cream of crop NFL talents but some how the Former ranks above the latter, really? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by chic2pimp(m): 1:52am On Jan 04, 2021 |
A40:That is most definitely true especially amongst QB's. Though I'll add being drafted into the right organisation helps a lot. You can be a generational talent a la Megatron or Andrew luck but if you get drafted into the wrong organisation nah OYO be that. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 1:57am On Jan 04, 2021 |
Android17:I am not a curry hater, and I give him him every due. I dont think it is hating to point out that he is not a CP3 type PG. Just like CP3 will never be a Curry type shooter. It is what it is. I know Cp3 would do more with this current warriors team than Curry would, because what they really need is leadership, not shooting skills. Is this a criticism of Curry? Yes, but its constructive, and its something that if he works on can put him in a top 10-20 all time great. Just trying to argue that he is already as good as he could be is not helpful. Even Lebron had to learn how to shoot 3s to add to his resume! He will never be a curry or beal or ray allen type shooter, but he has another ring plus finals mvp off of it. |

| Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 2:36am On Jan 04, 2021 |
So the two people (himself and KD) Kyrie said he can look to to take a clutch shot, which in fact he emphatically said are better than LeBron in that situation, just missed a clutch shot each to lose to the Wizards. Jokes on you Kyrie Keep talking that sh*t. |

A40:The effrontery! Abeg remind me of the teams in the AFC East again? Remind me the teams and their record that Brady competed against throughout his time in New England. We are talking of a division where Brady won the division title since he became a starter.. And you want to talk about competition? Don’t even dare! The NFC North is levels ahead of that walkover AFC East. Please tell us the great QB’s Brady faced while he was in the AFC East? What is the season record of the Jets, Dolphins and Bills? Those teams have consistent losing records and you want to talk about competition? The Jets, Dolphins and Bills Really? Do you know Brady’s combined record against teams in his division? Well, I am happy you have payed homage to the GOAT! He is the MVP of the league this season, no questions asked. |

Please when is Jaylen Brown going to get the respect he deserves ![]() My boy Tatum came through with the winning clutch shot! |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Android17: 3:17am On Jan 04, 2021 |
A40:Anyone who is trying to be honest will say exactly what you said. People forget that virtually everyone kept saying the warriors win had an asterisk which is why they started the next season in anger, did 24-0, eventually 73-9 and were 1 win away from repeating. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Android17: 3:26am On Jan 04, 2021 |
birdman:Of course, I agree that he is not a CP3 style leader and whether CP3 will achieve much?? ( the season just started) with this squad than Stephen is moot. The only evidence we have is Curry has won more with underrated teams than CP3 ever would. The fish to fry here is that Curry is a leader who does not lead by yelling or forcing issues. He follows the coaches instructions to the letter and believes that when he is at his best, it elevates the chances of anyone around him like Timmy and Dirk. If that is not what this current roster of the warriors need, you may be right but only time will tell. I only took you up on your claim that Curry does not make those around him much better. That is untrue. |
