Does it mean that every time you will meet a black woman at work for the time, you will see a potential adversary. How disturbing your post is given that you may even started to treat them as such.

By the way, how many black women have you ever worked with? How many white women ? Are you familiar with the notion of subtle or blatant discrimination? Where are you located if I may ask you?

I actually know what I'm saying. I'm in CA.

I treat everyone fairly.

I said what I said. And I'll say it again. As a black person in the American workplace, you are safer working with white people than blacks.

very true and not only rccg. Cele too. Some Nigerians if not many, live in western world like in Nigeria. I am not saying to forgo Nigerian or African cultures. I meant mentality is very ridiculous and causes them great setback. They do not want to leave their comfort zone and they live on welfare.

I met a woman on the street of nyc suburb. She sensed I'm Nigerian from afar. By the time she got close to me she knelt down begging for money. She wore cele gown, no shoes. Very dirty from head to toe. And they still constitute the same nuisances as they do in Nigeria. After I returned home to my uncle he said he knows her and that's how she goes around begging for money from people

I felt second hand embarrassment reading this.
.. some nigerians are so shameless embarassed

I agree with the OP that black women in Europe and the USA can be perilous to date. Those in the USA are by far the most damaged by systemic racism, which predisposes them to explosive outbursts of anger that can trigger violence.

If you reside in America, avoid black American women like the plague. They are NOT at all similar to Nigerian or African women. Black American women cuss and swear like drunken sailors constantly, and they will knife or shoot their man without hesitation, even in the absence of any provocation.

Date white, Mexican or Oriental women, if you can woo them, but if you cannot, then you are far better off ALONE, than risking your life dating a black American woman, 90% of whom are grossly overweight and ugly looking anyway, as a result of eating junk food, avoiding all exercise, and instead lavishing what little welfare money they get, on ridiculous, garish colored and elaborate hair styles from hell.

Thank you so much bro for this post.
I am Congolese and for ages I have been trying to convey this message to Nigerians on Nairaland.
Most Nigerians on here always think that the Indians community is doing better than Nigerians in term of unity.
I have told the Nigerians that as long as you aren't part of the Indian community, you will never what is going on in that community. Therefore, you can never say that the Indian community is more united than the Nigerian community.

Now, how do Congolese perceive the Nigerian community? Most of us think that the Nigerians are some of the most united people on the planet. The irony is that we perceive Nigerian unity the way Nigerians perceive the Indians or Chinese unity.

It is after joining Nairaland that I realized that the Nigerians aren't as united as other African think of them. This is where I come to the conclusion that it must be the same with every communities. We can judge the Indian or Chinese community from a distance but once we get to know them then we will realized that the grass isn't always that green

We are better off uniting as as Tribe than as Nigerians.

I fixed it there!

It's like when people say "One Nigeria" they try to be oblivious of how much culturally we are different from each other.

With this mindset, you wouldn't treat black people fairly. You will feel threatened by the presence of other black.

You are most likely to accept the management or leadership of a white person and vehemently denied that of a black person.

You are the type of black in workplace who would look at others black as competitors instead of allies. You are part of he problem black people face.

Can you tell me more about your job? Have you ever worked in a white majority environment where you have to complete for positions with white people?

If you think that racial discrimination isn't a big issue to black in corporate America, then I am wondering if we are referring to the same corporate world. Please tell me more about your job . What do you do for living?

Number 6 is a sensitive one for me. Even as a woman in nigeria, you have to work twice as hard to prove yourself in the workplace and at home. Black women face the biggest hurdles in the workplace, in the dating scene and in the family. Their tenacity is mislabelled and their femininity questioned.
Black women face the harshest criticism overall yet we manage to thrive!

Blacks need support of other races to be successful and most blacks aren't good people. Maybe thats why they are BLACK.

yes, the expectations laid on the female gender particularly in Africa, makes it harder for women in the workplace , the home front and even from fellow women. This is a very touchy topic though so i will leave it at this.

The lack of unity among black people is the main reason for all of our problems including the superiority of the whites.

my brother you have a very excellent point in theory but based on experience blacks see each other as competitors and actually their is no synergy except when the black has established a good relationship with you. I am speaking from experience. However, I always form bond with black people in the workplace to the extent that I know all the black people that work in my office.

I think blacks are endangered, the whites call the shot. Therefore, every black man was to please the whiteman to get by in their land and in the process they despise other black people. Is like competition.

Well it wasn't clearly spelt out in your earlier question. Of course black women have it harder than black men even in the western world. whatever a struggle a black man experiences due to his skin color, a black woman has to face twice firstly for being black and then a woman.

Everyone would claim that they have it the hardest. Remember that men generally would not come out to complain like women do because society expects the man to be "strong." Despite how much you see it in the new the number of black men being shot by the cops, the number of black men being jailed, how the black man is represented by the media to be "thuggish", how western laws favor women more, leaving the black man at the bottom of the food chain, you still think that black women have it harder than black men. Ever heard a white person call the cops on a black woman? It's always on a black man. Walk alone in a white neighborhood at 11pm as a black woman, then do so as a black man and let's see who gets the worse treatment.

Black women also get killed by the cops, black women also get arrested by cops. As black fathers get killed, get imprisoned or abscond, black women have to pick up the pieces and take on the role of both parents. Black women are the least desirable when it comes to dating, black women also face racism, Black women contribute their finances to the home front and are still expected to take care of the bulk of the house chores. When do black women get a break really?

All of the things you mentioned, you kept using "also" meaning you acknowledge that black men face these things. So, by statistics, isn't it clear that black men face these things more? How many black women have been killed by the cops compared to black men? Tell me! And what in the world do you mean by this, "As black fathers get killed, get imprisoned or abscond, black women have to pick up the pieces and take on the role of both parents.?" Are you expecting a white woman to do the job for her or you expect another black man to do the job? So, if a black mother dies, doesn't the black man pick up the pieces and play the role of both parents? So, black men don't contribute to the finances of the homefront and are not expected to still do the physical labor jobs in the house? Or are you saying white women don't contribute to the finances of the homefront and don't do chores? How does this victimize only black women? And who told you black women are the least desirable in dating? Are you following those OkCupid research that only use a very limited, skewed online sample? Have you even thought about this: who listens to the cry of the black man? So, because black men cry less since they know no one listens to them, you think they suffer any less than black women?

Given the train of your thoughts, I can say the same thing about white men and white women ... they also get arrested and killed by the police ...and so on.

I am afraid you have missed the point on the subject
Re: Sad Truths About Living Abroad by joy4ogba: 11:30pm On Jan 06, 2021
check the ratio of black single mums to white single mums. It is easier for a black man to be a deadbeat parent than for a black woman to be a deadbeat mum. The criticism is harsher for the woman. Again my point is in relation to the workplace, even in africa men are more likely to be given a job based on their intellect than women. As a woman you prolly need to give a lot more than your intellect to get a job, of course it can also be argued that women can use this to their advantage but there is only so much that can get you. In the home front, black women do give a lot more than their white counterparts given that i has been imbibed in their upbringing. In terms of dating, black men would talk down on black women but would worship another woman of a different race with similar characteristics, how many white men or men of other races really go for black women in comparison to women of other races. At the end of the day i have lived with and still have a lot of black men that are family and friends and it is the same theme; The black male experience is not nearly as bad as that of the black woman.
