No to the PGD result, as it's the bachelor's degree that matters when applying for masters.
As for his 2.7 CGPA, this translates to a 3rd class, and most Norwegian universities ask for a Grade "C" at least, so it will be difficult to gain admission with it. He may try some schools, especially with non- competitive courses, but I personally wouldn't bank on it. Just being realistic.

The admission requirement for most Norge universities is BSc.. This means they might only evaluate applicants based on BSc...

To apply for a masters? I highly doubt it.
One sure way is to email any school you're interested in. They're in the best position to know.

NTNU MSc application is closed for 2021 entry likewise majority of all Norwegian universities asides University of Stavanger that will close the application on the 10th of January, 2021.

wages vary by industries but at least, you're sure of 110---130 Norwegian Krone per hour after tax and you work 20hrs per week during school period and unlimited hour during break. 1NK = 40 naira, do the remaining maths and get the required result per month and per year. However, odd jobs pay very well if gotten, at least the pay should be enough for you to live a vibrant and decent life like travelling, Skiing (major outdoor sport in Norway) accommodation, feeding and all that but not luxurious lifestyle. Student accommodation is between 3000---4500 Norwegian krone depending on the area your school is located in. in minor cities ( when I say minor, they're developed than your FCT Abuja) you won't spend more than 7000 NK per month likewise in major cities, you won't spend more than 8500 NK per month in accommodation, feeding, transport and other things if you live a low key lifestyle. however, if you smoke and drink expect to spend 12000--- 15000 Nk per month because drinks are costly and cigarette is very very expensive because of high tariff imposed on it by the Norwegian government. Oslo (the capital city), Trondheim and Stavanger (oil capital of Norway) are expensive but have more Student jobs and numerous opportunities for int'l students than other cities so I prefer the aforementioned cities. it's advisable to learn Norwegian language in other to integrate and get what you want as regards post graduation opportunities. after MSc, you can apply for skilled working visa if you can present the sum of 200,000 NK that's about 8 million naira to Norwegian immigration department www.UDI.no and they will give you one year post study visa to look for job and the job must be in line with your academic discipline. if you can learn their language before you finish your masters and have up to 8 million, you are good to go with this option but unfortunately, you can't learn Bokmal and Nynorsk ( Norwegian languages) within just two years. some schools offer free language course once you're admitted to a particular MSC programme e.g NTNU also Look for their girls and date, it will make you to integrate very well and learn the language very fast. However, my advice for people upon MSC admission to a Norwegian school is to immediately apply for PhD while in 2nd year of your MSC programme in fact, most of the MSC programmes have career paths to PhD and even if yours doesn't have, look for another MSc programme and do to gain more ground In the country and to enable you immerse yourself deeply in their language after all, education is free so keep studying for greatness you shall see the glory of God. PhD students are paid 45000usd----50000usd per year, the higher you go in level, the higher the pay ( for e.g you can receive 45,000 USD in 100 level of your PhD programme and 50,000 USD in year two or three and it goes like that) as a PhD student, you will be given maximum respect as an employee and you will travel round the world for research purpose, seminars, book lunch and inaugural lectures related to your field. running a PhD programme is the best way to acquire Permanent residency and Job and you must have learnt Norge by then. I.T as well as nurses, doctors, engineers and other health related disciplines are highly sought after with very high pay. Norway is geographically an European country but politically not an European country because its not a member of EU but its a member of Schengen. It has borders with Sweden and Denmark and it's one of the 26-member schengen countries so with it's student and resident permit, you can travel to other 25 schengen countries without any hitches but you must not exceed 90 days in your stay!..My advice again is to settle down and marry their girl, it will bring a lot of opportunities. there girls are good if you're sincere to them and are ready to face genuine way of life to making it. EDUCATION and MARRIAGE is the best way to go as regards Norway, my elder brother studied nursing and married there also and today, he's not regretting it.... I did biochemistry at university of Port Harcourt and I'm relocating soon for nursing or MSC in Biotechnology. Just try your best, focus on God, and you will make it ...GOD bless us all. Lest I forget some doctors and nurses make 1 million naira and above per month some even 2million, 3 million depending on specialty, experience and how good you're. the working period is flexible 38hrs per week except overtime and must be financially beneficial but you must also know that Norway is " you earn more and spend more" but you don't have to live large, just focus on the money first and live a low key life and you will make it very well considering the country you're from. when you strike balance in life financially, you can live large if you wish. its one of the richest countries in the world with a very high standard of living and a GDP per capita of 83,000 USD as at 2018 whereas Nigeria is just 2000 USD. free education from undergraduate to professorship for both citizens and foreign students free healthcare, good food, beautiful environment and with a population of 5,700,000 it makes it easier for wealth to be distributed. nothing like poverty to them, everyone is wealthy but they don't show themselves. very humble, smart and hardworking people. they have enough seafoods ( you will eat and become tired if you have the money). my elder brother is a Nurse ( specialties: midwifery and geriatrics) he has been there since year 2007 and he speaks bokmal and Nynorsk more than some Norwegians, he is already a citizen since years ago. any further inquiries, add me on Facebook Prince Chidinma Victor God bless us all!

I saw on Facebook where some students said they'd landed. Unfortunately I didn't take note of what schools... Quarantine is required though.

Please email the school(s), it's the surefire way to get concrete info.

Oh great Akokite, you should hv graduated by August thereabout next yr and your transcripts should be ready by then. Unilag student records is one of the best in Nigeria if not the best. I paid 12k and my transcripts was uploaded on Soknadsweb and sent via DHL it got to Norway within 4 days. Also NTNU encourages sending of incomplete transcript ie whatever records you hv as at the time you want to apply so in any case you can still send your records whenever and they can work with that provided you will graduate within the stipulated time. online portal (Soknadsweb) opened mid October 2017 for Autumn, 2018 session so bear that in mind.You can always contact NTNU for any enquiries. I graduated with 4.27 CGPA from CBG, I'm optimistic my application will be successful because I chose the same course for MSC and I read from the requirements that priority is accorded apart from ones CGPA, the relevance of your course of study to the program you applied for. In other words, I expected to hv priority consideration for the same program over a Biochemist and other related biological science courses for instance. I should be in Trondheim Norway by 2wk of August, 2018 by the grace of God. Hopefully I will be your forerunner to guide you during your own application process.
