Leave that thjng. I know close to 20peopke who have moved to Canada and they are all working in good places such as banks, insurance companies, IT firms etc. It depends on your quality. These are people who previously worked for Zenith, GTB, Shell, Mobil, KPMG, Deloite, Unilever etc in Nigeria, with solid experiences.

If you go to Canada with degree, but with no pedigree from here, well maybe you may find it more difficult. Same reason why poor quality graduates are almost unemployable here.

Hey, Nigeria's population is not 150 Million people. Nigeria's current population should be close to 250 Million people. I sat down recently and did my calculations. If we look at China and India's Population today compared to the three countries populations in the 80's and 90's, it is wrong to put Nigeria's population at 150 Million. India has almost reached 1 Billion from around 600-800 Million people in the mid 90's. Nigeria was 80 Million people in the 80's and 90's. So I believe our population is close to 250 Million people now. Our census figures are not correct .

So why are you pained that people are migrating. If you cant get a job you desire there is option of going back to school and govt sponsors all or part. Some have gone back to study nursing for free.

If i call ambulance it will come, my children can enter government jobs or armed forces without knowing anyone or quota system.i have access to clean water. I have 24 hours light, i hardly enter traffic, i can stroll out at night without fear of hoodlums.

That's why I advised people on one thread that if you are not earning up to 250,000naira monthly as a single person or 450,000naira monthly as a married person, then if you see opportunity to migrate to a developed country where you can have a better chance of living a good life, then do it.



But if you are single and earning above 250,000naira monthly, or married and earning over 450,000naira monthly in Nigeria, you don't need to abandon Nigeria and travel out, it will be a big mistake
