I have been caught in such a situation for parking in Abuja airport.
A car was parked in front of me the only difference was that the person was there while I went down to pick my granny arrival.
They know what they are doing and they have the backing of the airport authorities.

This is just sad. Then, we will be complaining about our leaders but the truth is the average Nigerian does not really care about the other person.
It still boils down to the goddam leaders.
Think:if the leader made a scapegoat of some of these people, would others dare?Of course Not!
U people don't even understand what leadership is all about.
The average person in the developed world would want to earn quick money or screw the other guy but they don't because they know those at the top would make sure it doesn't happen and if it does, the culprits brought to book.
So understand a statement before you utter it.
If the leadership is poor, those below would do anything they like and that's exactly what is happening in Nigeria now.

So what did he do about it.
If it happened to me, next day I will head to faan office to see the head, make a complain and demand a refund of my money.
I probably will petition the CP airport police and or Lagos CP demanding a setup of those guys. If that does not work out I will set up cameras and make a video of those frsc misdirecting me and record the mechanics pretending to work on the car up to the point they request for money.
I will then turn the table of them and demand bigger money or I expose them on social media.

It is the leaders laxity not an average Nigerian.
Even a sheep will behave same if the shepherd does not take proper control of it.
Who employed those corrupt employees?
He has exposed them, did the employer hold anyone accountable? No.
Whose fault?

It happened to me too last year, my sister came back from Uk and was delaying, infact the mechanic was the one that confused me
Their office is very close to an open buka and very dirty, they Will give you a receipt and, after payment the mechanic charge 1k each for a tyre..15k plus stress that will drain you for the whole day....

The most Sophisticated fraudulent uniform organization in Nigeria is the Federal Road Safety Commission.

That Federal Road Safety Commission needs to be disbanded before they kill more people in Nigeria.

It's the style in Lagos. And it's a shame. If you have ever been a bike dispatcher, u will witness this first hand. They use agberos, use council officials etc to deceive people in falling into one way trap. Asking for directions now in Lagos is dangerous.
I bet u won't see that FRSC official that gave u the direction again.
This is where we are supposed to feel government; government is supposed to protect from things like this. But , ironically this dubious uneducated people are the government. We have somehow relinquish governance to them. Our dubious and mischievous leaders have empowered them. They enjoy and thrive on the chaos in Nigeria

Lol...nope. So, where did the leaders come from? Did they drop from the sky or were they once part of the people that also once complained about their leaders then? It's a cycle and you are clearly putting the cart before the horse. I get the idea that a system that is not working may force some people to do abominable things but that does not justify the mass-selfishness that has eroded the fabric of the Nigerian society. Everyone is thinking of a way to scam the unsuspecting neighbour.

If you want true change, let the value-system of the average Nigerian change and let's see if it won't affect the leadership or at worst, the leaders of tomorrow. I tell you, the leaders of Nigeria in 2050 may be currently somewhere suffering and complaining about how terrible Buhari is and yet, he/she is planning on doing worse once he gets to the corridors of power. I don't buy your explanation of 'it's still the leader'.

If you want to change a nation, start by changing yourself. If only everyone adhered to this.
