I am still not convinced about his mobility and his ability to pass in between the lines. I need to watch him more this season.

There is a difference between playing in low blocks with hardworking players around him at West Ham AND playing in a high line with Bruno and possibly Pogba bombing forward leaving him isolated.

An important quality we need in the prospective CDM is mobility which will allow him to cover large areas of the field alone while 2 more adventurous midfielders are on the pitch.

Another crucial quality is broad passing range which will enable him to be fulcrum from which our play can be initiated.

We shouldn’t repeat a Maguire situation where we buy a good player for the wrong system.

Mind game is one of the tools in EPL if you can't do it on the pitch, you've to learn how to talk subtly with the media so that what you can't achieve on the pitch, you've created an environment for you to thrive. That's why José Mouhinro is good at. Take a jab at your opposition, talk to your team to play dirty or provoke someone then leave the rest to the referee and fans to decide.

Olè is learning his ways. At least, he will tell us to be expecting VdB, Mata and Ighalo to play just to confuse media, opposition team and fans only for you to see Matic, James and Cavani.

I'm actually very impressed by this mobility. my issue is his passing range can be a little erratic. But he is very mobile with and without the ball which I think might be one of his strengths. I do think he might be Chelsea bound though.

But I fear that English hype and also his transfer fee, according to reports west ham are quoting 70 Milla

I won't buy him for that price

He is strong but his ability on the ball is questionable...Running with the ball doesn't mean he is quite as good on the ball and his passing isn't at the level a club like us should desire...I can excuse paasing ability if he had the agility of Kante of a couple of seasons back...

Right now, I am rooting for Ndidi or Bisouma who will be available if they sign Caicedo.

Well said. Rice seems to be a good passer of the ball although I wouldn't place him near Matic. His range isn't as wide as Matic's too. Although he is more agile and stronger than Matic I can't really vouch for his mobility because of the system in which he plays, like you said.

I'm still undecided about him. Will have to watch him more before forming a more solid opinion.
