My advice for anyone new is to learn.

Level:1 Front-End
HTML
CSS
Boostrap
Javascript
React

Level:2 Server-Side
PHP
Or
Java Servelets
Or
C#

There are good tutorials here with examples https://www.w3schools.com and also use youtude too.

I would recommend creating an online e-commerce web application to sell items while learing and keep on improving the front page, this way it will help to motivate you as you go along knowing that you have a live application running online to showcase your skills to employers when you have covered enough and I can gaurantee that you will get a programming job in no time.

You can get free host for starters here: https://www.netlify.com/pricing

Thanks for this. But just to ask is server side the same as back end in web development

I will appreciate that bro.
Well, the tutors name is John Smilga, I like the way he teaches, it's very easy to understand.
This is the link to the html and css video(although the one I watched was older than this, but I trust he still did a good work here).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-8ORfgUa8ow
One thing that helped me with css was that I didnt stick to one video, after watching his video, I went on YouTube, searching for videos on css for specific activities, like styling forms, sliders, fixed navigation bars, fixed backgrounds, etc. Once you are done with one video, check out others. That's my little cents cool

No one can tell you how long it would take you to learn a new skill. It depends on your motivation, passion and perseverance. Some of the best things in life are free. There's a 9 hour tutorial on YouTube.

I have a ton of tutorials on Web development and Python, I learnt these to an extent but I lost interest.
I am a fvcking computer science student.

Maybe if school resumes, I will get back at it though.
It's boring and tiring when you learn alone. I haven't written a code in months. My computer is now for watching movies. I am tired of this world and it's problems sef.

There's nothing I haven't dabbled in.
I have tried beat making. I currently have a beat making software on my computer, but I don't learn it anymore.

I have Android studio installed, but I don't learn with it anymore.

I have pycharm installed, but I don't use it anymore.

I have C++ compiler installed, but I don't learn with it anymore.

I have blender installed, but I don't learn animation making anymore.

I have eclipse installed, but I haven't opened it for months.

Then I created 5 blogs, but I lost interest.

I AM TIRED!

it is obvious that ur village people is really following u upanddown grin grin grin grin

Interesting. How do you customize it with php? I most times build mine from scratch, and it is time-wasting, I believe. I wanna know how to tweak a WordPress website with my little php knowledge. Thanks.

When I have decided on the theme I want to use.
I download and extracts the zip file.

I can write my own function, customize anything I want change lots of things, etc...

After I am don and everything is working fine I upload it.

In simple term, it means how you publish your app for public to view. Because most companies are going into cloud, the process is now different. A bit of familiarity with Linux will be helpful as well

Please where do you download these themes, and are they free? The ones I have seen and used are limited, and can only be accessed if you buy the premium version

Few doubt that cybersecurity will increasingly become an important part of most industries in 2021. Considering that on a global scale the average cost of a data breach is almost US$4 million in the United States and the rest of the world.

it’s not surprising that organizations are looking to bolster their ranks with cybersecurity professionals.

The doors are open to you in the private or public sector or even as a freelancer. You wouldn’t necessarily have to stick to one role – or one industry, for that matter – since everything is connected nowadays. Everybody needs protection: be it a small and up-and-coming startup, or an enterprise with billions of dollars in revenue.

You need knowledge of JavaScript to secure data and control information..

Cyber security certifications are also not easy to acquire and very relevant to the field. However, a nairalander mentioned him getting into the field without a certification. He just showed what he knew. I see a lot of cyber security jobs but they always list some very key certifications which are not easy to get.
