Pray always in the midnight between 12am and 3am and most importantly in your prayer point ask for Holy Spirit to dominate you, Power of God and Spirit of of God to dominate you, Trust me it comes naturally as you make this your routine

Let me reply you from my own personal experience.
As you must have noticed there are many stages in the Christian walk.
When I first gave my life to Christ, I noticed despite being born again, and having assurance of eternal life, there was still something missing, I was not immune from spiritual attacks for example,also, there was hardly anything supernatural about my life.
These events made me to search the scriptures for answers, since most of the 'men of God' did not have the answers too, (infact, I found out many of them had personal stinking lives covered under the daily routines of religion)
In my search, I found Luke18:1; "Men ought always to pray and not to faint". This passage changed my spiritual walk totally! I have found the more I pray, the more encounters I get also, the more I yield to the Holy Spirit to mould me in the image of Christ.
Now I am not yet there nor am I a perfect living master, but I see how the Holy Spirit is changing me gradually in real image of Christ. See, secret sins impede you from communion with the Spirit of God. Submit to the Holy Spirit to help you, you cannot actually win through will power/mental strength.

Finally, Brother/Sister, start with a consistent praying habit first. Remember; " You will seek for me and find me after you've searched with all your heart.

Let me tell you if you are serious and committed and sincere God sees your heart and knows everything.
1. Determine to believe the scriptures, what you believe is what you become

2 Get baptized in the holy ghost, it is an empowerment that will give you extra strength than your natural strength

3 Endeavour to practice the word of God that you read and heard with careful observation and evaluation 2 Corinthians 13:5

4 Do everything you can do to know how to hear from God distinctively, it gets to time that He will begin to teach you by himself through the voice of the holy spirit.

Read Christian books, so you can learn from those who are ahead of you.

How do you grow your relationships? Very simple; spend time with your beloved! Make out time EVERYDAY for God alone. Not prayer time o! Start with 15 minutes. Sit quietly and have conversation with Him whom you seek. Believe me, before you know it, you will increase this time to one hour! Do this diligently without break. Assume you're going out in a date with God at that time. Ask questions, raise issues that are bothering you. With time you will begin to hear Him. He will direct you. The Spirit will reveal hidden things to you.

I won't advise you to pray and fast or read the Bible from the beginning to the end for your spirituality to grow. But I'll advise you to start with a relationship with God. Start by referring to Him as your Abba Father. See yourself as His beloved child that can come to His presence anytime and talk about anything, no matter how little it is. Behave like a child to Him cos He's indeed your Father. If u think you can grow your spiritual life by doing this and that, in a little while you'll feel you're not doing enough. You'll feel you're far from God. Whereas Christ Jesus took up your sicknesses and weaknesses and gave you His righteousness and God's presence. So, enjoy His presence each day. Thank Him for every little thing, praise Him, discuss ideas with Him, gist with Him etc. Cos He said He'll never leave you nor forsake you.

The most important prayer every Christian should pray is Father, please give me the spirit of wisdom and revelation to
know Jesus better. Open the eyes of my understanding and
enlighten me, so that I may know the hope to which He has
called me, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints
and the exceeding greatness of His power toward those who
believe. Father, lead me in the wisdom of Christ in all that I do today. This is from Ephesians 1:17-19.

Christ Himself through the Holy Spirit will guide you everyday. He'll take it one day at a time with you.

My dear, grace means the unearned, unmerited favor of God. Meaning that we do not need to earn His grace by staying away from this or that or doing this or that. It's freely given to us just as Jesus righteousness is freely given to us (2 Corinthians 5:21). We can't wash away His grace. But we may not enjoy it if we aren't aware that we already have the grace of God.

So you need to study God's Word to know what God requires of you, so that you'd would be able meet it.

Prayer and fasting also helps you to grow spiritually and to obey God's Word because the flesh is weak but the spirit is willing.

Prayers, fasting, praises, studying the word of GOD. Use daily strength or daily manner devotional books, buy annionted books authored by great men of God. LASTLY HOLINESS.
