All of you condemning her for jogging that early na wa for Una o. Lekki Ikoyi toll bridge is a popular jogging ground in Ikoyi/Lekki axis. A lot of people jog on it very early in the day. Foreigners, Nigerians etc. Even people going to work walk on bridge early in the morning and late at night, people shoot music videos, movies on that bridge as late as 2am they don't Mugg them. It's not some isolated place. This is the first time in years of that bridge that such happened.
Don't people get mugged in Danfo buses in broad daylight. Do you stop going to work because you might get mugged?

The issue is that our security architecture is virtually non existent.
A promising young man, David was mugged last Friday at Jibowu at 8pm and the police and hospital didn't attend to him until he died. Do you condemn him for coming back from work because it's dark.

My point is that Nigeria is not safe, even in your homes you can be attacked. Even our police officers rob us at gun point and kill us.
Endsars was about this same issue of insecurity. You either get mugged by thieves or police. Nigeria is not safe

I had often wondered if the Lekki-Ikoyi link bridge is safe for joggers when I see them running along the bridge early in the morning, then this happens.
I don't think it will cost the concession company too much money to have security 24/7 on that bridge as am sure they are making enough earning from there; they can do this as a form of corporate social responsibility and also safeguard their toll earnings and staff.
