You will notice individual religionists displaying various forms of Godly devotion but the FRUIT of God's Holy Spirit will never reflect in their assembly! 2Timothy 3:5 Job 2:1:PRACTICAL APPLICATION!!! In the congregation of God evil people will be there but nobody except God can IDENTIFY them when they mix with God's children, the truth is their presence will never have any negative impact on the assembly of God's people, only those who have dealings with such ones will know! What a pity? O ma se o!  I've forgotten that you're both blind, deaf and dumb spiritually. But i'll TEACH you how to make use of that thing in your head called "brain" it's God's gift to every human just that some of us have been trained to make good use of it while some like you stubbornly want to remain in the darkness! The topic of your thread alone is enough to help you know that JW Organization has done a lot of WORKS that none of your religious groups can do!  Note that you singled out a religion out of over 41,000 other religions all having contradicting teachings and conflicting doctrines, then you begin narrating the beliefs of this single group as if others have the same beliefs in opposition to this single group! It's only this group that's capable of inculcating their doctrines in the minds of their members that's why it's obvious to all other religions because you all have different teachings as well. It's only this group that could successfully shun a defaulter in their midst and make the evildoers feel their impact, all other groups are like workers of LAWLESSNESS. It's only this group that has successfully taken away weapons from the hands of all their members globally, so when talking about killings going on in the world today they can say "we are not part of them" It's only this group that has successfully erased racism from the heart of their members, so that anywhere their members travel to in the world today they have families there, whereas all of you are complete strangers even when those you're calling your brethren are living where you're going! It's only this group that has successfully impressed the love of evangelizing work in the minds of their members so throughout the earth everyone knows the name of the world's number one evangelizers! It's this group that has successfully erased politics from the heart of their members so there is PEACE in their midst, nobody is thinking of it's this tribe or that tribe that's been ruling! It's this group that has successfully impressed the love of faith in the minds of their members so that they marry only within their FAITH! Please tell me what your own group has been doing apart from just having a form of godliness but having no effect on the adherents! By Luke Onyekakeyah 10 July 2018 | 4:04 am Jehovah’s Witnesses News about this year’s convention of the Jehovah’s Witnesses rekindled my personal encounter with this group of Christians who are largely ridiculed by other Christian denominations because of their distinct beliefs and conduct from mainstream Christianity. The beliefs, it must be clarified, didn’t emanate from outside what is written in the Holy Bible but its interpretation. The Word of God is so deep that one needs the Holy Spirit to fathom it. Only the Holy Spirit can reveal the meanings of the Word. Let me talk about the convention. The 2018 convention is billed to run from Friday August 3, to Sunday, December 23 in 34 locations across Nigeria, with the theme, “Be Courageous.” In the Lagos-Ogun area, the convention will begin from August 31 at the Assembly Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses along Idiroko Road, Ota; Daluwon along Mowe-Ofada Road; Lekki at Ajibona Village; and Badagry, at 5, Assembly Road, Itoga, opposite Limca bus stop.” According to the spokesman of Jehovah’s Witnesses, George Ijeh, the convention will help attendees to face the daunting challenges individuals, families and the society at large face today with God-given courage. He said you can clearly see that people of all ages are dealing with more anxieties and fears than ever before. It takes courage to face these pressures. He explained that the three-day programme consists of 54 presentations, including talks, audio dramas, interviews and short videos. No doubt, the theme of the convention is apt for the hard times Nigerians are facing. Suicides are commonplace. One needs courage and endurance to hang on. My encounter with members of Jehovah’s Witness in far away Japan in 1987 made a lasting impression on me. I was invited to Japan by a university to participate in a scientific conference where I was to present a commissioned research project I did for them on acid rain in Nigeria’s Niger Delta. It was a very exciting trip flying for hours to the Far East. Everything went fine. The Japanese are very friendly with visitors. You are challenged to try some exotic delicacies that form their daily menu. As a practice, anywhere I travelled, the first thing I would ask in my hotel is where the nearest church is located where I can worship. That was the question I ask at my hotel and they directed me to a nearby Roman Catholic Church. With the map given to me, I was able to reach the parish house. I went in and saw a man whom I told that I would like to see the parish priest. He said the priest was having siesta but that he could call another priest from town for me. Immediately, he called a priest, who happened to be a Belgian priest. Within minutes, he drove in and met me in the visitor’s sitting room. I introduced myself and told him my mission in Japan and asked if I could be assisted to stay for a while after my assignment with the university. He said no that I should return back to Nigeria as soon as I finished my assignment. He gave me a ride back to my hotel and left. Back to the hotel, I phoned a pastor of the Baptist Mission in Tokyo, a woman, who gave me invitation prior to my departure to visit them while in Japan. She said I could come and stay in their guest house. When I finished with the university, I informed her and she agreed to wait for me at a train station. I met her at the station on arrival. The first question she asked me was whether I have enough money to take care of myself. I said yes, because I was “loaded” having been paid enough money by the university. My intention was to have some time to look around the beautiful city. She took me to the guest house where I lodged. The following Sunday, she came and picked me and we went to their Baptist church service. The people were excited to see me – the only black man in the congregation. After the church service, the pastors had a brief chat with me and advised me to return to Nigeria as soon as possible. I left the guest house and went for a live-in with a family I contacted who have lived in Kenya and know Africa. They welcomed me well and treated me so nicely.One day, I was alone in the compound and behold two members of Jehovah’s Witnesses on evangelism were passing by. They saw me and came in to talk with me. Having been used to reading the Awake magazine and discussing the Bible with Witnesses in Nigeria, I welcomed the duo as we sat down to talk the Bible. I brought out my Bible as we discussed. We talked for a short while and they got to know who I am and my mission. The Witnesses were so friendly. They encouraged me and assured me of their support. The point is that, out of the three Christians I encountered – the priest, pastor and Witnesses, it was the Witnesses that received me and showed me true love. That registered in my psyche. As children, we were brainwashed to mock and deride members of Jehovah’s Witnesses each time they passed or came over to our home for their trademark evangelism. Growing up from the Catholic background, Jehovah’s Witnesses were derided as Ndi ama ugha Jehovah or “Jehovah’s False Witnesses,” simply because they shared a distinct belief based on their interpretation of the Bible. But the most interesting thing about this interesting group is that they are law abiding. Whereas Nigeria is generally a lawless society where people brazenly break the laws with impunity, hardly would you hear or come across a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses caught breaking the law as others routinely do. I have never heard of a Jehovah’s Witness involved in any of the numerous criminalities that pervade Nigeria – stealing, armed robbery, rape, adultery, bribery, corruption or driving against the traffic, ritualism, name it. This group silently engages in their chosen careers with utmost gentleness and Christian conduct. I am not saying that Jehovah’s Witnesses are saints. Certainly, not. But I can boldly say without equivocation that if every citizen behaves like members of Jehovah’s Witnesses, there will be peace in the country. I wish the brothers and sisters a very successful and fruitful convention." |

See how shallow you think? Well Jehovah's Witnesses are still practicing this today! Think of all the religions you know and ask yourself which of all these religions is carrying it's members along with the latest technology in doing God's work? If you get to the poorest country on this planet you will find Jehovah's Witnesses with the latest deluxe Bible (always complete from Genesis to Revelation) , our Kingdom Halls are built to fit the town plan where it's situated, each publisher (evangelizer) is equipped with all the necessary materials to meet up with Christian activities. What do you think made all these possible both in rich countries and poor ones? Well it's the balancing JWs have been doing right from the first century, most of us don't know how much a Bible cost out there, all because the rich amongst us are making use of their abundance to offset the lacking of their brothers in poor countries! Unlike your own Churches where some of your people don't have a complete Bible and most can't even afford one at all so how are they going to be strong spiritually speaking like true Christians when they don't even have a SWORD OF THE SPIRIT? John 17:17; Ephesians 4:17 The spiritual poverty is so intense that the whole world can see how the rich in your midst only mind their own business living the poor to suffer lacking of Spiritual nourishment, Jesus knew that poverty may prevent his followers from possessing the (spiritual) sword so he told them to sell their clothes and make sure they by a sword (complete Bible) {Luke 22:39} that's why JWs in rich countries made sure that their brothers in poor countries have enough Bibles today so that wherever people found JWs the efficacy and efficiency is the same! 2Timothy 3:16-17 I know you'll be shocked to know the practical application of what you just quoted, perhaps you are expecting the modern day Christians to send you money for the upkeep of your numerous children instead of taking care of your Spiritual needs. Definitely you have nothing to share regarding your church! As for individuals in JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES Organization it's Jehovah himself that can rate each person. One thing you have to do first is get out of dead religions that aren't performing {Revelations 18:4} then join the religion that's working so that you too can contribute your quota {Revelations 22:11-12} For your information the true God is not seeing the nonsense and ingredients that's practiced under false religions because there are detestable things done that irritates him {Habakkuk 1:13} so your presence in their midst indicates the type of person you are {Psalms 1:1} That is why Christianity was established as the modern day Ark of salvation, but Satan quickly initiated various religions and deceived them to be claiming Christian {Matthew 13:25} that is the reason why you can't point to a single thing done in ECWA. Of course Jehovah jugdges workers of iniquity in his Organization {1Corinthians 5:12-13} but none of you out there who have learnt the the truth yet choose to continue practicing false religion and vehemently criticizing pure worship can escape, you will all be destroyed! How i wish you can go back to read all the comments you've made on this thread with effort to demonize JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES Organization and you're now saying "Church doesn't matter" all because you can't remember any positive result in your ECWA Church!
