I started running a barbing salon in her residence and we became casual friends. We either have short chat about a random topic or greet each other and continue with our business.


But few weeks later I started getting food items from her almost every day (bringing it to my shop each time she comes home to rest), as she works in her sister's canteen nearby. She actually started this with a sweet. And cash at one point.

She would reject anything I offer her in reciprocation. And this gets me impressed, perplexed and confused at the same time.

She started disclosing her personal experiences to me. Like downplaying a Yoruba guy she once dated in our street (before i started my salon in that area and how she regretted it- he constantly extorted money from her with one excuse or another)

This girl has been so kind and generous to me. And I doubt if I've met such a girl before.

I'm beginning to admire her even more than my girlfriend. This girl is fair in complexion and beautiful too. And she'd from my tribe too.
I tried wooing her on two occasions but she's either smile and walk away quickly or tell me I'm being funny. (Taking it as a joke)

I do see qualities in this girl that are non-existent in my current girlfriend, whom I find hardly trust. she's never even done a quarter of something similar to what this my 'friend' offers me so consistently for the past 3 weeks.

The act of not taking new girls out on date is stupid has a guy. Do you konw why ? Many of our girls friends still go out on date with new guys that ask for their number.
