Whisper: That dude got a deep understanding of the scriptures more than 95% of Nigerian GOs and I ain't kidding. You won't understand this until you listen to him preach with open mind. |

Paramountgift: Can you please explain the below scripture for me. Deuteronomy 14:22-29 22 Be sure to set aside a tenth of all that your fields produce each year. 23 Eat the tithe of your grain, new wine and olive oil, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks in the presence of the Lord your God at the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name, so that you may learn to revere the Lord your God always. 24 But if that place is too distant and you have been blessed by the Lord your God and cannot carry your tithe (because the place where the Lord will choose to put his Name is so far away), 25 then exchange your tithe for silver, and take the silver with you and go to the place the Lord your God will choose. 26 Use the silver to buy whatever you like: cattle, sheep, wine or other fermented drink, or anything you wish. Then you and your household shall eat there in the presence of the Lord your God and rejoice. 27 And do not neglect the Levites living in your towns, for they have no allotment or inheritance of their own. 28 At the end of every three years, bring all the tithes of that year’s produce and store it in your towns, 29 so that the Levites (who have no allotment or inheritance of their own) and the foreigners, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns may come and eat and be satisfied, and so that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands. Q: Were the laws given to the Jew or Gentiles (you)? |

You have been brainwashed. Jesus never asked his followers to pay tithe or give offering to anybody. God is the owner of the Universe and everything therein; HE doesn't need your material gift. What HE demands of you : True Worship and Adoration to HIM in all sincerity, and loving your neighbour as yourselves which 97% of Nigerians cannot do. So, mister, that 10% tithe was what the Israelites of old offered from their agricultural produce to be distributed to the poor. The Levites(Like the present day Pastors) stole from the store-house, hence that reproach. Stop enriching your Pastors because most of them might end up in hell including you, the collaborator! Sorry if the truth hurts you please!. Righteousness2: |

cooltola: If i said i understand your point, i will be lying..God gave us laws to guide us in making better choices. So i dont see the importance of paul or jesus in the matter. God never asked any body to die for anyone. All he said was if you confess and forsake i will forgive....he sent jonah to Nineveh, with a promise of destruction if they dont change their ways. They repented. He forgave them..no human sacrifice was needed or required. So what is the importance of jesus that i am missing ? |

MMXX: Threatening them with misfortune and hell fire is a high degree of manipulation. *WHO ARE YOU AS A CHRISTIAN?* 1 Peter 2:4-5 4 As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him— *5 you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Christ.* 1 Peter 2:9 *But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood*, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. . . In the new covenant, you as a believer is the church (house of Yahuah/God) not a building (2 Corinthians 5:1, Acts 17:24, Acts 7:48, Matthew 24:1-2 and John 4:21-24) and a priest while Yahushua (Christ) is the high priest (Read Hebrew 7). Hebrews 7:26-27 26 Such a high priest truly meets our need—one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens. *27 Unlike the other high priests, he does not need to offer sacrifices day after day,* first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people. He sacrificed for their sins once for all when he offered himself. : In Christianity today, a Priest is threatening another Priest with hell fire, misfortune and all manner of bad things to collect tithe, first fruit and sacrifices from him or her. Mixing old covenant (expired) with the new covenant. Hebrews 7:18-19 18 The former regulation is set aside because it was weak and useless 19 (for the law made nothing perfect), and a better hope is introduced, by which we draw near to God. Galatians 3 vs 19 - 20 Why, then, was the law given at all? It was added because of transgressions until the Seed to whom the promise referred had come. The law was given through angels and entrusted to a mediator. 20 A mediator, however, implies more than one party; but God is one. . * Christ is the seed been referred to here. Colossians 2:17 These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ. . The 613 laws are shadows until Christ came. Christ fulfilled the law, done and dusted, chapter closed forever. That's why it's now weak and useless. Hebrews 7:12 For when the priesthood is changed, the law must be changed also. . Hebrew 8 vs 13 "By calling this covenant “new,” he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and outdated will soon disappear." Romans 7:6 But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code. Galatians 3:10 For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.” * If you're to obey the laws in the old testament to be right with God, you're to obey ALL the 613 laws otherwise you're under a curse. James 2:10 For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it. Galatians 2:21 I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!” Hebrews 10:9-10 9 Then he said, “Here I am, I have come to do your will.” He sets aside the first to establish the second. 10 And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Christ once for all. . . He set aside OLD COVENANT found in the old testament to establish the NEW COVENANT found in the new testament. . 2 Corinthians 3:6 He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. . * The letter here is the old covenants (laws) while the spirit is the new covenant. Read the whole chapter for better understanding. Please brothers and sisters, do yourself a favour and read the whole of 2 Corinthians 3. Verse 14 "But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away." is exactly what is happening in Christianity today. The minds of many were made dull. Never allow any man born of flesh push you to do the things that are now weak and useless. If Christ and the early Christians didn't do it, I tell you today, don't do it no matter the pressure. The new testament scriptures are Christian manual, anything not found there shouldn't be a doctrine. I still remain the son of the TRUTH. |

babaolofin: You've pasted this write up everywhere.. Here are my responses to your points: 1. In the list of richest Nigerians, there is not one Pastor 2. Nobody should tell you what you do with your money, nobody should make you feel bad about how you spend your money..... It's your money, you worked for it, spend it on anything you want to. Any you, babaolofin, I'm very sure there are some useless things you spend money on.. from girlfriends, to beer, to Bet9ja, etc.... But tithe and offerings is your problem? You should be richer than dangote since you don't give offerings and tithes, don't you think? 3. Are you saying that tithe and offerings are the cause of poverty in Nigeria? Please explain, enlighten me.. Daddy Freeze message is for people with low minds and low iq.... Enjoy 2 Likes |
