In your subconscious, you're still competing with her.
Even if she's not your spec now, she was your spec before. She was a spec anyways.
Sincerely, I was bittered the way the whole thing turned out.
I never bleep nor kissed her all through the relationship but still supported her financially during her university days yet that didn't convince her enough that I truelly love her.
I have stopped competing with her and have already moved on. That's why I said I wouldn't go back to her even if she offer herself today.

She was a 3year senior from high school
2years older than me
Reunited about 5years ago but for some reasons, maybe cos I sincerely adore her. She didn't count me as human. Had sex a few times before she ran away.
Got back again late last year.
We really had beautiful times together till she embarrassed me in public insinuating I was a gigolo. Normal me wey I proud before, I walked out on her and swore never to do anything with her. She somehow realized her mistakes and was really sorry for it.
That was when the real affair started. Life with her was beautiful, she showered me with every affection I can ever think of. Sex was a birthright, he made sure I never lacked a thing. It all seem so perfect till last night when she walked away
She just using u, only stick to you when a better option ain't there. Once she has a better option zoom she goes. Forget her

She was the preparation for your matrimonial life. Hurts, but such is life. Take heart.

We were never compatible.
Religion, age and everything was against us
We both knew it
It was beautiful while it lasted
Just sitting here thinking of her again makes me teary
Pray I find my own and she find hers
Just life
No bad blood

I got some extreme highs and lows vibe from this.

Coming back and running away; off and on?
It's life
No bad blood
Pray I find mine someday soon
It was never her fault
I can understand.

Not everyone can afford the prenatal testing y'know. Or the emotional turmoil that comes with aborting a foetus of its SS. How many kids will one abort before conceiving a "healthy" child?
I agree with you cos aborting a baby is not a good thing.

But when it comes to matter of the heart it can be soul shattering to break up with the one you love because of genotype.

The only one I had was close to being perfect. The Ogun-Ekiti differences couldn't make it last. Since its collapse, I've lost interest in keeping r/shp angry
What do you mean by ogun-Ekiti differences ?

You can easily burst the bubble and expose a Covert Narcissist, by simply saying ‘NO’ to their requests that don’t sit well with you. That way, they fly into rage, cos they hate being told ‘No’. It means if you look carefully enough, you can spot a Covert Narcissist either.
Ok.

Good on you for not playing those games with them.

Have a great married life. Grow together and raise beautiful children (if so desired).

NwaliE01:
I had a very near perfect relationship but the relationship ended when I proposed marriage because the lady thought I was pretending.
I later met another lady and got married less than 2 years after our disengagement.
It's been almost 5 years now and she is not even in any serious relationship.
Later learnt her single nephews and friends deceived her. She said they told her that I love her so much and can never marry someone else apart from her. They told her to dribble me before accepting my proposal but I wasn't that patient for those nonsense.
I am happily married today and can not even marry her even if want to marry another wife.

Most Ekiti-born are always warned not to marry from Ogun State,,, giving different instances of failed marriages btw the two. As religious as my gf's mother is (& as much as she likes me), she still believes in the culture of not marrying from Ogun. Her daughter is now married to another, but the mother still calls me occasionally.

It's a story for another.

Better the soul is shattered than another's life destroyed due to selfishness.

How many people even do the Genotype test?

Even if AA marries SS or AS marries As there is still a good chance of having a healthy child.

Love is not that easy to throw away cos of genotype issue.

My comment is about AS - AS relationship. AA and SS or AA and AS (more common) are compatible.
Nothing in this world is easy or difficult, it's the mindset. Some couples were even given wrong results, only to end up having kids with Sickle Cell. I know of two cases like that.

It's perfect cos both are still hiding somethings from each other...

Life itself no balance not to talk of a relationship
i donthink you understand the op. he said this:
When I mean Perfect, I mean His or Her Flaws are "Perfect" for you. The relative Perfect, not the constant one.

Have you been in a relationship where everthing ranging from conversations, action, reactions, calls, gist, advice, resolving issues, future goals, emotional intelligence and all there is to expect and have in a relationship seen to be in near absolute Perfect Harmony.

So perfect to the point that you became scared and you were finding other flimsy reasons to excuse yourself for a while or confused?

Dated someone who was the perfect gentleman in every sense of the word, almost too good to be true and funny enough, he was actually too good to be true....... And yes, there's every reason to be sceptical when someone ticks all the boxes and the relationship is near perfect.

I'll have to disagree with you there, I was once in perfect relationship. She was just too perfect, what i lacked in emotional intelligence she made up for it (I'm not in the least bit an emotional person). It was like a dream, we practically told each other everything, I don't talk much, but I opened up to her in ways I never thought where possible, the bonding was unimaginable, she made me believe that love truly exists. I would have married her, but we broke up based on tribal differences.

So yes it's very possible.
Tribal differences, for real man! If you both were ready to face it together as one, you'd still be together ,but then it takes two to tango

I’ve been seeing this kind of experiences more lately. You should try reading about attachment styles. I’m no psychologist but your last paragraph and what some others have described seems typical to what they refer to as a avoidant attachment style.
I hope you last statements don’t lead you to hurting something good. Perhaps share your fears with the partner?
