May i use this minute to thank you for your helping advice towards finding a solution to my account suspension imbroglio.
I have now started selling my disposable stocks.
It took the intervention of CSCS before Meritrade decided to give me a lease of life.
CSCS never suspended my account as this was confirmed in their Headquarters Lagos, and the desk officer called Meritrade to do the needful. Otherwise, heaven knows when i would have been able to use my account.

However, up till this moment, Meritrade guys insist that my account was suspended by CSCS.

They probably don't like me anymore.
So, i sold some stocks, which had already depreciated, this morning, even with the much hated Price Limit.

Meritrader is a great platform. I remain there. However, i would still fight their Senior Management Staff in Lagos, for breaking my heart.

Which stock can i buy now, Ymcy mommy ?

This is the first time i am available to trade at the right time. I've been behaving like an as***le.

There's quite a lot of funds trapped in the market now. More funds needed to bring liquidity in the market else bears will be in charge creating opportunities for dividend hunters to mop up shares at a good dividend yields in the coming days/weeks.

The Monetary Policy Council (MPC) of the Central Bank of Nigeria concludes its bi-monthly meeting later today. The economy may be close to exiting recession and inflation is going up (15.75% y/y in December). But we think the MPC will will keep its policy rate (MPR) at 11.50%, though with increased commentary on the need to contain inflation.

investor are just being cautious
