You only wrote your years of experience not the type of job you do.
If it's a Solicitor, then it's a long process cos you will need to be called to the Bar here before you can complete the assessment.

You can also post your spouse's details too. Self-employed is vague----what is he self employed in? University? Course?

If you don't have an occupation you can nominate, having a citizen sibling will not help in the skilled migration process. Also location of your sibling will determine if she will be able to nominate you or not.

Check the occupation list to see the occupation you can nominate.
Visit www.anzscosearch.com
You may need to register on the website to view the details below
On the top middle page click "Lists" (on a laptop/computer) or click the Hamburger sign (3 horizontal lines) to select "Lists" if you are using a mobile device
Go through the 3 lists MLTSSL, STSOL and ROL
Click any of the occupations that best relate to what you do.
When you click the occupation, scroll down to 'Anzsco code' and scroll to 'Tasks'
Check if the tasks relate to the occupation you have selected.
Revert here with occupation(s) you deem relate to what you do and we will take it up from there

Visit Vetassess website. There is a link to the assessing authority on the ANZSCO website, visit the Vetassess website. It lists all the documentation required. As long as your job description and qualification fits, you are good to go.
While doing that, you can also prepare to write the English test, whichever you choose
Next stage after a positive assessment from Vetassess and a good english result, you create an Expression of Interest (EOI) and wait for state nominations.

Hello Everyone Good day!

I need guidance please!

What are the necessary steps that i can take to get a job in Australia and relocate there? I'm a thorough novice at this.

I'm 29, have a first degree in Accounting, and i'm currently self employed. I also was a beneficiary of Npower(N- Agro). I don't know if my experience with npower can count as Work experience.

Where do i start from? Any one who has gone through this process should enlighten me please.

Good morning, I’m curious how accommodation would be provided for an Immigrant will you have to pay for a rented house from here before you get to the country you’re emigrating to or the government will make provision for a stipulated period of time?

You are responsible for your accommodation. You search for the accommodation yourself when you get there. Some people book a cheap hotel apartment or use Airbnb for the mean time before getting their own accommodation.

Thank you for clarifying this, that means apart from showing proof of funds you still need to have cash for accommodation.
But should the accommodation be booked after visa is gotten, what’s the process like?
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by maintainG: 2:11pm On Jan 28, 2021
Yes
Once you have your visa, you can book for hotel apartment for easy landing or if you have friends to stay with for the meantime before getting your own accommodation fine. It is advisable to view your accommodation before paying for it.
Anything accommodation is totally dependent on you. You sort it out yourself.

You can send someone in Lagos to go to Alagbon on your behalf to apply. They will collect your fingerprint via scan or you can apply through a third party website online here

Thanks for sharing oga bellong. Does anyone know anybody who has used them? Thanks.
