I got a call from my University warning me about a Lab used by 2 students who were turned back. She said one used reddington and was ok. I cant remember seeing reddington on the approved list

Ah. This must have been where the confusion came from. You should have written your total fees as the amount that remains after the deduction of the discount. At least that's how I wrote mine. Still pursue the admin review if you have time though. What you wrote isn't wrong afterall. The visa officer just didn't take his time to properly assess your application.

Guys... please use NCDC approved labs to do your COVID tests. Do it and get your certificate. This is so straightforward, I don't know why anyone would choose to be buying test certificates at the airport. I heard around 500 students were deported from UK over the weekend because of fake covid test certificates. Nawa.

Hi gents,pls i hv a medical doctor relative thats wiĺling to traveĺ to the uk for masters..he currently works with phcb but has not be confirmed ( within a year employment)
Hs main concern is during the visa interview will he be asked to provide a document of proof interms of work that he would b employed when he returns back.
As a doctor, does he really need to proof that?

They are allowed to attend the free government school from 4 years and above , and can also attend private school if the parent prefer that as well (this one is not free)

So yes two options...free and paid

I joined this thread September 2020 after i got rejected of a canada student visa, my plan was to go for masters in Uk September 2021 but as God will have it, canada refunded my fees earlier than i thought and admission came through with UK, all through to paying school fees through form A, to proof of funds, to CAS, mehn it was just God ( don't let anyone tell you it's easy) lol i even had delay in collection of my Visa..

Got my CAS- 19th January 2021
Filled in my application- 20th January 2021
Biometrics- 21st January 2021
Collection- 8th February 2021 (12 days after biometrics)
Priority, VI centre

Everything came through for me despite all odds, I wasn't even expecting it, as at the 9th day after biometrics when I wasn't getting any feedback as regards my application, i had to put a call through to UKVI where i was told decision hasn't been taken yet on my application (omo i wanted to ment lol) . She said she will escalate it.
So this morning i decided to put another call through, and i was told a decision had been taken, funny part to it when i collected my passport, it was stamped 26th January (3rd day after biometrics).
I want to thank everyone, those still expecting, your goodnews will come, i also want to thank Victor, dude actually encouraged me through the waiting stage.. God bless

This shows again that chasing UKVI is actually someone just waisting their money. The call center is someone different and they just charge you .... without it having an impact on your application

Your application will take the time it would take with or without a call.

It varies, so just keep checking for your date if you have time ahead.
Booking through a travel agent allows you to pay in naira.
When you book on BA's website you have to pay in dollars with a domiciliary account card, so level don start to change from there.

I don't think the UKVI calls/emails are pointless. My experience was somewhat different - when I emailed UKVI, on a Friday, I got a reply the next day telling me the application had been dealt with and they would escalate the query right away, and the collection email came on Tuesday, with the visas dated as having been issued on Monday the previous week. I would assume that in that case they'd done the issuance and the passports were ready for onward transmission to TLS but they delayed through overwork or oversight and the reminder from UKVI got that done.
