Lina012:
Good day everyone

My boyfriend and I started dating about 2 months ago. We've met a few times because we stay in different cities. He has been very nice to me and told me the last time we met that he wants us to settle down as soon as possible. After that, he started acting in a strange way, not picking my calls, responding to messages after 2 days, then I asked him if he was okay, he said he will "catch up". He is a medical doctor and I understand he can be very busy so I left him for a week and tried to reach him to check on him again. He responded with "Please stop communicating for now, I am not in a position to respond to messages now, I will reconnect with you later"

We didn't have any quarrel, everything looked okay before all these started. I'm really worried because even if he is so busy with work, he couldn't spare a few minutes to talk to me and explain the situation.

I'm confused right now because I think he probably lost interest as I don't know what to make out of the whole thing.

What do you guys think?

Thanks
he lost interest or he is simply seeing someone else. Talk to him, if he really wants u he will adjust, nobody is really busy to talk to who dey love

Could be that he has suddenly lost interest. Btw, what do you do for a living? Just asking oh.

In summary, give him space and get yourself occupied and enjoy yourself like nothing happened. Trust me, you'd be fine.

Cheers.

Two things are involved. Is either his girlfriend is currently staying with him and he does not want to receive or make incriminating calls OR he his testing you to see your reactions. My advice is for you to patiently keep on texting him to show that you care until otherwise.

Understand this:

If a Man is busy and choked up with stuffs, it is really hard keeping up with the the lady one is dating. Personally, if I have things doing and I want to meet up with, I see it as a disturbance even receiving calls.

I told the girl I am dating currently to make do with just us communicating once a day. She said she likes attention, and for me I have things to do that may hinder me from giving her that attention.

She want us to talk in the morning, afternoon and night of which I told her that's too much. I have things bothering me I need to meet up with which she is not even aware of. Choking a guy with too much attention is just too much.

Try and give him a little space to breathe. He will surely keep in touch when he is less busy. Men pass through alot as they shoulder many responsibilities. If a man is having so many things bothering his mind, he won't even have urge for sex. He won't even look at any woman face. That's where a good lady comes in.

Know what's bothering your man's mind and encourage him. Some of us don't like speaking up cuz we feel that you don't have anything to say to us. Even if we tell you what we are facing, some ladies don't know how to encourage or offer encouragement that will boost a man's morale. That's why we don't bother telling you ladies anything when we have stuffs bothering our minds.

When a man tells you he will keep in touch later or let's have a little break, just know he is passing through something or he might be passing through serious day to day stress maybe at work or trying to meet up with something. He might not have that settled mind to attend to the attention you need as a lady.

The best thing to do is encourage him and tell him everything will be ok even if u don't know what he is passing through. Then don't choke him too much with chats and calls that period.

When the storms finally become calm, he will reach out to you. Call once a day. That's enough.

That compromise is the reaching out he promised to reach out.

If you understand stress, you will know that it is not different from depression. When one is facing stress due to work, he won't have that enough time for social things.

It is just momentary. Everythinv will go back to normal ones he has overcome any obstacle he is facing at that period.

his reaching out is not compromise o! his choosing of "I will reach you when I get there is only placing a bigger burden on his supposed partner which theme leads to an eventual breakdown

if he is understress then he needs to open up to unbottle the stress.that in itself might reveal his true nature sef.people destress themself in various types of ways beyond imagination.

if he is shaking to the core and it will take him months to recover.he should free the lady nah

n:b:

as a male figure if we think we can avoid stress!

Look for another man if you like your heart.

If someone truly loves you, no matter how busy he is, he'll try by all means to create time out of none to reach and keep in touch with you. He's prolly seen someone else and is now having double mind about your relationship.

I Know it's difficult but you have to move on . Life is too sweet to waste on someone who treats you like trash.

Val is round the corner, celebrate it in happiness o. Don't let one thing spoil your joy. They ain't worth it.
Many ladies never get the memo.
Once you start noticing bobo is giving you distance and you've searched your heart and know you've not done anything wrong to him, start looking for another boo. That one don go.
Don't wait for a man to insult you before you back off.

You won't preach compromise if it was vice versa. Like the thread of "my fiance isn't picking my calls", I saw how you guys told him to delete her number and move on.

OP, bros don go. If he'd come back, then he will. But don't waste your time thinking there's something you can do to mend it.
Relationship takes TWO to tango.
Back off!

maybe u did something to offend him that he might not be telling you
do u have a male bestie u share moments with?
or u still talking with ur ex?
those two things could make a guy u with uncomfortable
if u did neither then it could be he has seen one fine nurse in the hospital he works and is now targeting that one
but again hope u guys are really dating and not just ordinary friends?

I'm telling you. I can read peoples mind through their actions and body language and quickly put them where they belong.

Let her give one of the numerous guys in her PM a try. No time to check time this time around.

@bolded, very valid advice.
Once a person withdraws and you try to reach them once, twice, no change, next thing is to back off.

there are two responses on this thread.the one of the op and the other one belonging to the moniker that I quoted.

since you did not read the monikers post.you would not understand my response to that post .

concerning my response to the o I am very clear

but hey! you were in a hurry!(I understand)

now let me fill you in;

the op has an issue with her alleged bf (a medical doctor) who told her I am not available I will let you know when I call.

the moniker I quoted exposed his own travails of his own place of work and state of mind.(you get their differences nau).

You know he can be saying the truth he's real busy right...
Madam just switch your attention to somewhere else
If he is being truthful or not,it will help you
Make yourself open to other person's, spread your emotions
It will help your sanity,if he still wants you,he will feel it and come back, when he does, feel free to do small shakara
But make yourself available and open your mind

But you guys aren't always straight forward, what will it remove from the bf if he bluntly tell her he's no more interested? She is confused right now cos he can decide to waltz back into her life when she's moved on, and guys like that can have flimsy excuses like he had some personal challenges and needed to be alone for a while.
What you're saying here is that this was how all guys brokeup with their exes?
