I can see the Governor of Zamfara is also there. grin
Maybe the lives of Northerners in Zamfara are worthless and useless that they kill dozens of them every week without any visit from Northern Governors. But when they get killed down south, they come running down.

They have their agenda

If there should be a mass exodus back home, these states which are commercially preferable, are not prepared for a Tsunami that would ensue.. Moreso with a down ridden economy alongside Covid.

It's better to calm things down than to have to deal with IDPs all over town.

There's economic sense in their visit.

This is also in addition to the fact that they are largely moderates not fanatical and lacking in knowledge and decorum as some others.

Lastly, I still won't forget about Taqqiya!!

As a Northerner and also a Christian. A bus driver ran intentionally into Boys Brigades procession, killing scores of kids, just because they where blocking his way. And how a woman was mobbed to death for wearing GEJ's campaign shirt.
In my state, can't mention so many other intolerant stories and events which I have lost count of that took place while I was growing up in the north.

It is better to settle scores amicably, and get fast to solving issues earlier, than waiting for it to escalate and spiral.
Also always view things from a broader perspective not only when it affects you directly.
There has been quietness from the north on matters of killings of other tribes and regions.
So why now have they become jittery, scared and vocal? Would they have done the same if a person from another region or religion is president?
Or is it in an effort to try and make them look tolerant? If so,then why the intolerance all the while?
The Hate,Lie and Deceit has too stop.
God Bless the North.
God Bless Nigeria.
Peace!!

Shameless entities who only knows the language of hypocrisy and Jihad. Is there a day our southern governors cross to the North for fact finding mission on the killings of Southerners?

Stay in the North and stop hypocritical movement all over Nigeria. You guys don't believe the language of Peace.

[peace is good but please remove that rubbish poster about Chigozirim that person is not an Ibo.

There is nothing you Northerners can not do to make sure that stays as one so you keep milking the country all in the name of patriotism.

Let me tell you why the North does not want to retaliate, its not cos they love peace....is because they know they are the ones to lose as my ethnic groups will gather against them and use the opportunity to call for seccession.

THE NORTH REFUSING TO RETALIATE ITS COS THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING AS THEY WILL LOSE THIS TIME SO THESE SCHEMERS ARE USING OTHER MEANS TO ACHIEVE THEIR GOAL.

No you for retaliate nah cowards!!! U for hear am....real cowards!!!

I try to get your point at the start of your post but your last statement turned pale and nonsensical in absolute. You sound very much like a broken record player.

Either by narrative or otherwise I give no bleep as I said I don't support violence but everything has limit in life, so wear your glasses or use your eye drops for your to see my post clearly and read it well ok.

1. They've seen they do not possess the monopoly of violence and they've come begging.

2. The fools know that if they start a civil war now, they will be alone.

3. Because the SW, SS, SE and MB now see them as common enemy that must be crushed.

4. Them for do rubbish make I know how their zoo army will be fighting Boko Haram in the North, ESN in SE and Sunday Igboho in SW.

Some corrections...

1...They might appear to come begging but I won't trust those guys with a long spoon... Might be to deliver some ultimatum of sorts.. Here I agree with the gentleman that GSM might be better positioned to have Aketi and the Ogun state gov alongside, after all the most devastation has occurred in those states.. Fayemi should keep welcoming them angry angry

2.. They are not alone.. They've got mercenaries from Futa Jallon to Libya who are for rent to help alongside the Fulani herdsmen.. Surprisingly BH may also provide help in order to buy itself some legitimacy at the bargaining table - - Syria is a case study--1.... It becomes..

as my enemy is your enemy, I'm your friend.

3... I'd be cautious with that narrative.. Crushed No but driven out to the Core North, yes.. Then maybe they are more likely to respect boundaries. And live peaceably with host communities.

4.... Answered with No. 2 response..

The question that resounds within..

Ghana chase you comot, Benin chase you comot, Togo has stylishly done so.....
When will they look inwards and ask where they went wrong

If you have read the History of Nigeria since the 1966 Coups you will know that the Hausa have a very strange habit of first finishing off all available Igbos before pouncing on any other Tribe even when Igbos are not at fault.

They feel duty bound to payback for Sardauna and Balewa's deaths before any other matter.[/quote]

It was so unfortunate the killings at Shasha Market

They interviewed one young man whom I thought was Yoruba because of his near perfect Ibadan dialect
Until he said he was from Kano but was born and brought up in the Area.

This is exactly what happened in Ile Ife march 2017. Soldiers that were called to the scene to protect people and to stop the fight were seen protecting only Hausa people destroying and looting Yoruba people. This brought anger out of those guys that mobilised themselves in the defence for Yoruba people..the killings was just too much.

Sir I am from Ibadan and live in Ibadan

That's exactly what happened.

The Yorubas came with Amotekun to arrest the Hausa guy on Friday morning but Seriki Hausa Refused to release him or provided his whereabouts.

The friends of the dead cobbler and the dead pregnant woman got angry and threw a few hausa pepper on the floor.

The sekiri Fulani called the military to what was going on and they came and chased away the Yorubas.

At night, the Hausas destroyed and maimed any Yoruba they could come across in the Shasha area and the rest I wrote earlier followed

If anyone tells you anything different from this, tell the person to swear with the Quran.

Southern political leaders have a big lesson to learn about leadership from their Northern counterparts...

Whenever there's crisis up north, you hardly see Southern governors travel there to visit their people or even engage the host governor there...
